A Kiss from Death

I've read this story when it was a WIP and I honestly loved the concept. This story is quite replayable and you would likely need to play it again to meet various ROs. However, some of the romances and stories haven't pulled me in. I think the only one that I enjoyed pursuing was Tarnis. I love his personality and I hated how he died, it was so sudden that I had to take a second. :( It isn't bad nor is it great. If anyone wants to read about various love stories then you should try this!

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ a dragon. Then I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ a necromancer. Then I became friends with an animated suit of armor. Then I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ a demon. Then I eloped with a mermaid. Went back and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the dragon again. Then I decided to kill Time. This one is a little rough around the edges but clearly a labor of love by the author and an excellent work of interactive fiction.

Very good. One of the better from the hosted games label. I enjoyed the romance the primary ones and secondary mortal ones. I think that the themes were maybe delivered in a slightly too heavy handed way, but I guess you have to give it to the author for being thematically consistent.

Although this game is very macabre, with a strong focus on all life fading away; everything passing in a quick cycle of life and death, decay and rebirth- it's a genuinely exciting story to read! I recommend getting this game on sale. I'm not sure the choices impact the storyline that heavily, however I loved reading all of the many little stories of all the lives and people this immortal main character meets. Even more exciting is being able to read the side characters' stories. It's quite heartbreaking though. A lot of lives in this are made of effort, goals, bonds with others, and then ultimately, death. Life is so fleeting... I felt really sad after playing this game. Gameplay is very simple- you just press the 'next' button and click on whatever choices you want to go for. As for the 18+ scenes, they are pretty simple- either just a paragraph or page each one, which is alright with me. Oh, the ending. The true meaning of what love means in this game, wow.

i played a lot of choice of games stuff both official and hosted through many platforms along the years and this has to be hands down the best one yet <3<3<3
