Technically spoken we are dealing with a 1 Dollar R-Type clone. A veeeeery weird one. If everything you saw ammuses you you will have lots of fun. Well.. I am not quite sure where i got this game from again. But now i found it ant it manages to make me chuckle.
A poor side-scroller on all fronts. About three points out of 10, but that's still a like in the negative direction. I don't recommend it. In 2002 it would have been a hit, but in 2016 - it's already too much.
oooooolala very good when the flying motorcycle.

A grande bagunça espacial — The big space mess (2016, разработчик и издатель — RMAL) — абсурдный сайд‑скролл‑шутер с элементами хоррора и комедии.
A grande bagunça espacial - The big space mess is a chaotic, humor-driven indie action game that proudly embraces absurdity, fast-paced shooting, and an intentionally messy sense of fun. Developed and published by RMAL, the game feels like a throwback to classic arcade shooters filtered through a distinctly playful and irreverent lens. From its title alone, it signals that order and seriousness are not part of the agenda, and that expectation carries through every aspect of the experience, from its narrative to its mechanics and presentation. The story is deliberately over-the-top and nonsensical, revolving around an eccentric villain known as the Brain Monster from Space, whose schemes range from criminal enterprises to political ambitions, all in pursuit of galactic recognition and paternal approval. Against this backdrop, players step into the role of Waldisglédson, an unconventional hero motivated by the kidnapping of his girlfriend Babe. The narrative exists primarily as a vehicle for humor and variety rather than emotional depth, delivering a steady stream of bizarre situations, exaggerated characters, and comedic twists that keep the tone light and unpredictable. Gameplay is built around classic side-scrolling shooter fundamentals, emphasizing constant movement, enemy waves, and reflex-based combat. Levels are compact and energetic, pushing players forward through alien-infested environments filled with projectiles, traps, and oddball enemies. While shooting forms the backbone of the experience, the game avoids becoming monotonous by introducing a surprising amount of structural variety. In addition to standard action stages, there are optional side missions and even puzzle-oriented segments that require a shift in thinking, providing brief but welcome changes in pace. One of the game’s most distinctive features is its large roster of playable characters. With sixteen characters available, each possessing unique special abilities, players are encouraged to experiment and find styles that suit their preferences. Unlocking these characters is tied to exploration and discovery rather than simple progression, requiring players to locate hidden NPCs, complete small objectives, and return items across different stages. This system adds an extra layer of replayability and gives the game more depth than its initial arcade-style presentation might suggest. Weapon variety also contributes to the sense of experimentation. Multiple weapon types are available, and while the shooting mechanics remain straightforward, switching between characters and tools can meaningfully change how stages are approached. This flexibility helps offset the relatively simple enemy behaviors, allowing players to create their own sense of progression through mastery and customization rather than through complex systems. Visually, A grande bagunça espacial adopts a colorful, sprite-based aesthetic that fits its comedic tone. The graphics are clearly low-budget and unapologetically indie, but they are readable and expressive enough to support the fast-paced action. Enemy designs, backgrounds, and animations often lean into exaggerated or surreal imagery, reinforcing the game’s identity as something intentionally strange rather than polished or realistic. The audio design follows a similar philosophy, using energetic music and retro-inspired sound effects to keep momentum high without overwhelming the player. Controls are simple and responsive, reinforcing the game’s arcade roots. Movement and shooting are easy to grasp, making the game accessible even to players unfamiliar with the genre. The ability to quickly exit stages and retry sections reflects an understanding of how trial-and-error fits into arcade-style design, reducing frustration and encouraging experimentation. While the learning curve is not steep, mastering later stages still requires attention, timing, and familiarity with enemy patterns. The game’s humor is a defining feature but also one of its most subjective elements. Its reliance on absurdity, randomness, and exaggerated personalities will resonate strongly with some players while leaving others cold. Similarly, the lack of narrative depth and mechanical complexity may disappoint those seeking a more refined or serious action experience. Certain unlock requirements can feel opaque without guidance, and the chaotic presentation occasionally borders on overwhelming, particularly during intense combat sequences. Despite these limitations, A grande bagunça espacial – The big space mess succeeds by fully committing to its identity. It is not a game that tries to appeal to everyone, nor does it attempt to compete with larger or more polished shooters. Instead, it offers a lively, unconventional experience filled with personality, variety, and genuine enthusiasm for arcade-style chaos. For players who enjoy retro shooters, experimental indie design, and humor that thrives on sheer weirdness, it delivers a surprisingly rich and entertaining ride that lives up to its title in the best possible way. Rating: 6/10
