На самом деле гей тот, кто придумал закрывать игру на ESC. а еще игра не имеет настроек размера экрана 10 закрытий игры по случайному esc/10
Pathways has a deeper plot and in that game every single decision leads to you being put on a government watch list. Did not see myself reflected in this game. ZERO crabs despite being set on a beach. I don't want to talk down to a small one person dev team, but this game is overpriced even ironically. Also not LGBQT. Gay? Yes. It is in the title. But no lesbians to be seen (apart from a weird incest suggestion from one of the NPCs) and neither of the two main characters remotely hit about bringing some boobies into their bedroom. So unless you are Gay, sorry, this isn't your game. (I think one of the NPCs might be Q... but in one of the three endings you end up murdering them... so... yeah... Really not feeling the love with this baby.)
A Gay Love Story About Gay Love is an intimate, narrative-driven indie tactical RPG developed and published by Sigyaad Team that places emotional storytelling at the heart of its design. From its deliberately straightforward title to its focused scope, the game makes its intentions clear: it is first and foremost a love story, one that happens to unfold within the framework of turn-based strategy rather than the other way around. The result is a compact experience that prioritizes character, feeling, and personal choice over mechanical complexity or grand spectacle. The narrative centers on two men whose lives are shaped by a world divided by conflict. Raised in the same town but separated by opposing factions, they find themselves reunited under circumstances that force them to confront not only the political realities around them, but also the emotions they have long carried for each other. The story unfolds through dialogue, exploration, and key decisions that allow the player to shape how their relationship develops. Rather than relying on melodrama, the writing often opts for quiet moments—shared memories, small gestures, and reflective conversations—that give the romance a sense of sincerity and restraint. This grounded approach helps the relationship feel earned rather than rushed, even within the game’s relatively short runtime. Gameplay is built around a turn-based tactical structure that supports, rather than dominates, the narrative. Battles take place on grid-based maps where positioning, timing, and ability use matter, but the systems remain approachable and streamlined. The game does not aim to compete with large-scale strategy RPGs in terms of depth or customization; instead, it uses combat as a way to reinforce stakes and progression within the story. Encounters are generally concise, ensuring that momentum is maintained and that players are not pulled away from the emotional throughline for extended periods. Player choice plays a meaningful role throughout the experience. Decisions made during conversations and story events influence character dynamics and ultimately affect which ending unfolds. These branching paths encourage reflection rather than optimization, asking players to consider how their actions shape trust, intimacy, and understanding between the protagonists. While the number of endings is limited, they are distinct enough to justify replaying the game for those interested in exploring different emotional outcomes and interpretations of the characters’ journey. Visually, the game adopts a colorful, top-down aesthetic with anime-inspired character designs that emphasize expression over detail. Environments are simple but evocative, providing enough variation to suggest a broader world without overwhelming the player with visual clutter. Character portraits and sprites do much of the emotional heavy lifting, conveying subtle shifts in mood and connection as the story progresses. The presentation is modest, but it aligns well with the game’s personal, introspective tone. Sound and music further support the narrative focus. The soundtrack leans toward gentle, melodic compositions that underscore both moments of tension and quiet intimacy. Rather than calling attention to itself, the audio design works in the background to reinforce atmosphere and emotion. This subtlety helps maintain immersion and allows the story to breathe, especially during scenes that rely more on dialogue and reflection than action. Community reception has largely embraced the game for its heartfelt storytelling and representation. Many players highlight how refreshing it is to see an LGBTQ+ romance treated as the emotional core of a tactical RPG rather than as an optional subplot or token inclusion. Criticism tends to focus on the simplicity of the combat and the limited scope of the mechanics, particularly from players who approach the game primarily as a strategy title. However, these limitations are often understood as deliberate design choices in service of narrative clarity and pacing. Taken as a whole, A Gay Love Story About Gay Love is a focused and sincere indie project that succeeds by knowing exactly what it wants to be. It does not aim for scale or complexity, but instead delivers a thoughtful blend of light tactical gameplay and emotionally grounded storytelling. For players interested in character-driven narratives, meaningful representation, and RPG experiences that value emotional impact over mechanical depth, it offers a memorable and heartfelt journey that lingers well beyond its final moments. Rating: 8/10
Feels like a joke at first, especially since my friend gifted it to me as a friendship, but it slowly turns into something genuinely emotional. Beneath the absurd title and awkward humor, there’s a quiet story about love, regret, and two people trying to reconnect in a world that keeps pulling them apart. What stayed with me the most was the sadness the game leaves behind after finishing it. It’s not perfect, but that’s exactly why it feels honest. I started the game laughing at the title, and ended up caring about the characters far more than I expected.
çok beğendim ama keşke kısa olmasa
Honestly could've been longer, but for the 50 cents that I didn't pay (a friend gifted me it), it was alright, definitely the type of game you gift a friend for laughs or to have a screenshot of them opening.
Not nearly enough gay love, the romance felt shallow and empty as if it was effectively just telling me to find it cute rather than actually being cute. I expected so much better, I feel thoroughly dissapointed to be honest.
This game is one of the HARDEST games I've ever played. I can't even get through this game without dripping big sweaty filthy BALLS of sweat. You will come across one of the hardest levels which relies on movement and keybindings. Do not press ESCAPE!!! My achievements erased immediately after the amount of sweating I did until the escape button. I can't believe they've done this to me. 10/10 great game though. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
