A Butterfly in the District of Dreams

I genuinely wanted to give this more of a chance, but to be quite honest, the 3 and a half hours I did put into the story was a slog. I thought that, considering the story was setting up the premise that we were transported to a magical world, there would be more fantasy elements involved. Turns out, the "dream" world isn't really that much different to the real world. Although the character designs and voice acting are decent enough, the plot (at least, what I could get through) has been extremely basic and in some parts, cliche. There's absolutely no stakes involved in the romantic department- all three heroines are in love with the main character from the very start. Speaking of, the only route I had gotten partway through was Ai's, as I figured her's was the only "normal" choice. The fact that a literal child (she looks, talks, and acts like a child; if she's not one, the devs are lying to us) and a girl- who the main character cannot tell the difference between her and his TWIN SISTER- are the other options, made me even less enthusiastic to keep playing. I wouldn't have minded if the other routes would have been platonic, but looking at the ending CG tells me they were romance options. Speaking of options, I haven't really noticed many chances to choose responses...which hurts the story more, because you're just sitting there, reading a generic plotline with no real impact of your own. I may *possibly* give Ai's route another try and finish it out, but as it stands, I can't really recommend this for the simple fact that...I just didn't enjoy it very much.

[Spoiler] Şarkı : Nightcore - Hold On [/spoiler] [Spoiler] oyun oynarken zaman geçtikçe sırasıyla karakter 2 Ai 2 Yurika ve 2 Riko tane tane seçiyordum o an "Ai-chan seçtin" diye hikaye devam etti. En sonunda mutlu son ama sevdiğim kişi Ai değildi Yurikaydı,tekrar oynadım tekrar karakter seçimi geldi en sonunda hepsini Yurika seçtim sonra o kadar üzüldüm ki ağlayıp seni seviyorum dedim gerçekten sevgilim yoktu ama beni hissettiğini çok üzüntülüydü ve daha acı verici sevdiğim kişi kaybetmek daha acı verici hikaye bitirdiğim o an düşündüm gerçekten benim suçumdu sebebi kahve + acı birleştirip önerdim diye böyle hikayesi oldu malesef bu oyun öyle seçeneği yok sadece karakter seçeneği var. Beautiful, charming, clever, heart-warming, wonderful game! It has lovely characters and an amazing story. There are lots of chapters that you can just chill to and enjoy. Oriibugai and Kochouran are warm and welcoming places, you can always come and have some fun! It is way too good for its price. If you like visual novels, definitely give it a try. You'll love it!

Extremely lighthearted novel. There's not much going on, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. I liked the characters and that they are fully voiced - a good japanese listening practice if you're learning the language
