About

A Better Tomorrow is a minimalist 2D city-building environmental clicker game that focuses on green energy. Your goal is to supply clean energy to your citizens while preserving the environment for an in-game week. Build green energy generators and plant trees to achieve this. Immerse yourself in this cozy and relaxing experience and learn about green energy.

In A Better Tomorrow, you must manage three resources: energy, the environment's health, and the limited space available. The game's primary resource is energy, which is used to build new generators and satisfy the energy demands of villages and cities. When you construct new generators, the environment suffers. Heal the environment by planting saplings and seeing them grow into beautiful trees!
The game presents a strategic challenge with its five types of energy generators: windmills, solar panels, dams, gas plants, and nuclear plants (on July 6, 2022, the UE Parliament labeled gas and nuclear power as green, equating them with renewables). Each generator has unique attributes, and weather conditions can influence their production. As the game progresses, new villages and cities will appear, increasing the energy demand. Adapt your strategy to optimize production and maintain a balance!

The game is extremly simple and I expected nothing but a quick 2 games, close the game and uninstall it. Oh boy, I couldn't be more wrong. What I liked the most: - The music is fantastic and the sound of birds in the background is the icing on the cake - The interface is minimalistic, smooth and has a set of well selected colors. - The animations and the little details are fantastic and include things such as the kitty easter egg, the background changing during the day or extra challenges. - But, overall, the must fun thing I found here are the Challenges. It's like the game was calling me a monkey who can only create a synapsis between the last 2 brain cells it has. Like, don't get me wrong, the game is simple, it's like playing Plants vs Zombies: - You see sun, you click sun, you spend sun. But here: - You see energy, you click energy, monkey happy. And this is exactly what got me for a few more hours, completing a week is not as trivial as I thought and I actually had to think a strat to literally *minmax in this game*. It was a lot of fun to get the hidden achivements and the two challenges are a great complement. What I didn't like so much: - I feel like the balance is not as refined as other aspects in the game. What I mean is that the 4th and 5th structures you get, the ones between wind turbines and nuclear plants, I find them kinda meh and not really useful outside from the challenges (which you 100% need them). I feel like there is not a good reason to use those structures, like, as a player, when you unlock them, you have so much energy that is way more worth it to just wait for the Nuclear plant. So maybe something to vary a bit my "build". - I miss an archive or a little wiki inside the game where I can see all the structures, their cost, when do they get boosted by the weather, etc. Right now, the only option is to read the tooltip, which is fine, but when the last structures come into the game, I have to deal with all the energy and I don't have the time I would like to calmly read every description. Overall I had a really nice experience and, once again, the challenges are the best part in my opinion. Good job and I hope to see new games from you in the future!

A slow-paced game where you spend more time playing whack-a-mole with giving buildings energy than actually planning out plant placement.
Nothing wrong with a cute little environmentally friendly puzzler for free.
A Better Tomorrow is a cozy game about different renewable energies where the main mechanic is quite simple, provide energy to houses in order to get through the week. Although the premise seems simple enough, collecting every achievement was a short but enjoyable experience, where you really need to develop a strategy for the most challenging ones. For the most part, the gameplay is relaxed and methodical, perfect to play a few games every now and then. The amount of content is enough to play for a few hours if you want to squeeze everything it has to offer. Overall, I found the game pleasing and I enjoyed my time playing. I hope the updates include more content, like new challenges, achievements or themes, and I will follow the developer in their future endeavors!

I'm really bad with the strategy but the style of this game hook me up. Simple to click but complicated to think. Overall it's nice and great.
Overall, I find this game to be a fun way to spend some time. Earning the trophies was quite entertaining and challenging. I especially loved the cat one. Visually, it is pleasing, and the music is also great. The game shows a lot of care in many aspects and has an interesting educational background. I highly recommend it. Great job!
