The climax of Volume 4 may have wrapped up the main conflict, but there’s still one last task remaining, which is cleaning up the aftermath. Even though the villain has been defeated, not everything is completely settled. One issue still needs to be dealt with, the one bad ending that hasn't been removed from the timeline. Otherwise a certain character will go down and definitely cause trouble, probably? I think yoichi will definitely do something in this timeline at least. Addressing this branch helps solidifies Miyako. Personally, I’ve always felt that Volume 1 is the weakest entry in the series as it spends a lot of time laying down the foundation and developing the relationship between Miyako and the mc which unfortunately leaves Miyako without enough individual character growth. This installment feels like a proper return that makes her pretty relevant. It also reaffirms that the mc's decisions throughout his journey. This volume also takes the time to resolve other loose ends, including giving more clarity to Takamine's motivations. After wrapping up this branch, this episode then delivers a set of stories featuring each heroine in their respective routes. Just like in their main volumes, these short stories highlight exactly what I love about them On the visual side, the new CGs look AMAZING. The artwork is stunning, with the characters beautifully presented in soft lighting, and even holds the best cg by far imo. I don't think the pick up for this one is particarly important but it is still a good read. And one thing about this episode is that, there are no 18+ scenes which is fine. Just that I felt like there are quite a lot of moments they could've put one in. Also Sophie CG, thank you.
