Nice little game

I will likely spend days playing this game.

It’s fun. Def worth on sale. Downsides are multiplayer (no live option), balance (some kings are busted compared to others), and chaos scaling (I get that it’s supposed to get hard, but there’s no time to amass anything before bullet sponges roll up).

Great little game! It gives me all of the dopamine hits of a good, large battle in Age of Empires or Age of Mythology in a fraction of the time it would take to build an empire.

★★★★★ Just finished my first full run of 9 Kings on King difficulty and honestly, this game is ridiculously fun. The gameplay loop is incredibly addictive. Every run feels different, and there’s so much replayability in experimenting with different builds, strategies and combinations. Finally beating a run on King difficulty felt genuinely rewarding. The multiplayer is probably my favourite part. giving you loads of room to actually strategise. It’s one of those games where you can say “one more run” and suddenly realise you’ve been playing for hours. For the price, there’s an absurd amount of replayability here, and I can already see myself putting a lot more hours into it. Highly recommend, especially if you enjoy roguelikes, strategy games and playing with friends.
