Kinda like overcooked with some interesting twists. Cook the right things or you end up being the meal. With being able to cycle through controlling many different goblins, it can get quite chaotic.
Chef didn't raise no punk! It's a short game with a few crunchy areas, but I did find myself getting weirdly into the flow of trying to multitask as many dishes as possible! While I did like the swapping goblins thing, I found myself really wishing I could throw plates and ingredients at my other chefs. Overall, I dig it! Side note: I was able to run it on steam deck using proton experimental and it was pretty comfortable, but text is a tad small though
I thought I was good at multitasking, but not at all. It has been a long time since I've experience a proper brain ripper of a game. This small game is all the fun and really puts your mind at a challenge as well. Which is my kind of game. - Many Gobs died in the making of this review -
Fun game about preparing meals and managing time. Very addictive and can get very chaotic!!
Ever cooked a new dish for your in-laws under massive time pressure? This is now my headcanon for every goblin population. If you think a chaotic cooking simulation with sportsgame-like passing is for you, then get 86'd!
