"7776 II: Dwarven Greed" is a weird VR tech demo, basically a dead PvP (no players) dice poker/Yahtzee ripoff. Only in VR with a nonsensical theme about dwarves using a machine to play poker or something. From what I can see this isn't monetised (I wish it weren't so, but many online gambling companies are trying to push into Steam so it pays to be wary). Unfortunately as a PvP game with no players, this can't be played as intended. You won't get a match. What do you do in the game? Use a machine to roll dice, with a few addons and gimmicks... frankly it's a convoluted mess of a VR tech demo. The graphics aren't great, some cartoony assets (maybe flipped) and a generally mediocre rendition of the machine (bespoke, so at least at some point an artist was involved) revolving around a single static VR scene. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

Ones, Tows, Threes, Fours, Fives, Sixes 2 of kind, 3 of kind, 4 of kind, 5 of kind
Interesting game but why can't i find anything about the developer or the company?
A simple dice poker title that isn't all that bad but not my cup of tea.
