7 Wonders II

I remember being a kid on the family computer playing that game still enjoying it today ! runs pretty good and really feels nostalgic to play again

Upon finishing this game there isn't much to do besides play it again. It's a simple match 3 game and it doesn't try to be anything it's not. A fun game good to just pick up and play for 5 or so minutes every now and then.

I remember playing this on the Windows XP family computer, and it's still as good as I remember; I return to it fairly often and I'm glad that it's apart of my library. Something about these late 2000's computer graphics is just so comforting, like seeing an old friend. Make sure to find all the map pieces if you want to access the final level and truly "finish" the game, and keep in mind that New Game + will be significantly more difficult, as you'll notice that your time limit ticks down faster even during the first couple of Wonders. Even though this is technically a puzzle game, the power-ups, abilities, and various tile types keep it fresh and interesting. Worth full price but I got this on sale for a few bucks awhile back.

Its an easy game and very addictive

I played this game a ton during my childhood, but only decided to try to fully complete it just now! I haven't played any of the other 7 Wonders games, but it isn't needed to enjoy 7 Wonders II. Having played lots of other match-3 games previously, I bull-dozed through this game but still had a ton of fun. 7 Wonders II a super simple and short game that's fun to put on to wind down to. The mechanics are pretty satisfying and unlike some others, I love the link between your progression and the amount of building materials you collect while playing. The art style is cute, the gems have interesting designs, and the OST honestly slaps a ton! If you're looking for a relaxing and possibly nostalgic title, you can't really go wrong with this game. There's probably better match-3 games out there, but for 10 dollars it's hard to really put too much against 7 Wonders.
