Really solid game. Always enjoy a good paranormal activity cleanup game. Gameplay is pretty straight forward and the story is really fitting for the game as well.
This is just the right amount of creepy, and the right amount of cute, with just the right length to not overstay its welcome. Sometimes the creepy rudely interrupt your very important vacuuming, but that can be solved. If I'd have one wish for an improvement, it would be the ability to replay individual nights and work towards the alternate endings without replaying the entire thing. As it stands though, it's well worth the time, and the price. It's works well as a couch game, and runs great on Linux/SteamOS.
7 Nights With Vroombi is a delightful little horror experience that fans of Paranormal Activity (found-footage-film-franchise), Skinamarink (film), Good Boy (film- the horror from the dog's perspective) Moldwasher (game), lo-fi horror, and cleaning simulators will absolutely love. It’s masterfully executed — though admittedly rather short. You play as a (potentially sentient? or at least perceived that way by deuteragonist, Lily) little robotic vacuum cleaner: suck up dust (and other... messes), and occasionally avoid a daemon made manifest through ritualistic spellcasting. Sounds simple enough, No? Sure. However, the craftmanship of the game shines once you slow down and actually pay attention to the environmental story cues scattered throughout each “night,” you realize there’s real narrative depth here. Lore-hunters (like Yours Truly) will especially appreciate the love, care, and detail poured into this wordless tale of woe. The story even branches with variable outcomes depending on which goals you complete. Short but sweet, and surprisingly memorable.
Cute and funny! Knocking over the blocks was my favorite part!
This game is dripping with atmosphere. I had a lot of fun playing it with my Wife. It takes about an hour to get through, and it is an hour well spent.
A fantastic short game about the horrors of cleaning. The tiny hop is 10/10
A fun little cleaning simulator. I'm not usually a fan of these things but it was cute and concise!
No silly jump scare. I like it.
I really enjoyed this bite-sized Vroombi adventure. I liked how the horror elements were mostly just happening around you with the more in your face ones being easy to get used to. I found the vacuuming ridiculously satisfying and I was definitely interested in what was happening in the house around me. I appreciated that the game was short so that getting the other endings didn't feel like a chore. But honestly, part of me definitely went back to clean up more messes. It just felt right lol. If you like a mild horror with a lot of wtf moments, check out 7 Nights with Vroombi. How can you say no to that lil guy?
The game is better than cleaning my own place... Feels like I'm being watched for quality control.
