The Driftwood Experiment is a short but excellent exploration & collection game, set in an underwater cave. The game is free but needs no reviewing allowance for that - it has enough content and quality to merit having a low price (I say "low" because my play time is probably twice as much as it needed to be due to trying to get the final achievement in what turned out to be entirely the wrong way). In the game the player guides a robot diver around a twisty map with limited viewing distances to find six types of fish and six types of plant life, plus opals, eco-crystals and [spoiler]a much larger underwater creature in its lair![/spoiler] Driftwood fungus also needs to be collected to lure the fish (so that they can be caught), to fertilise the weeds (so that they grow into one of the types of plants), and to activate the eco-crystals (which boost the natural diversity for a short period of time). The underwater effects are very good, with luminous fish, pearls, crystals and driftwood fungus which help with underwater visibility, and swirls of currents (which can be disabled if they cause discomfort).
