Love the idea but hate the controls.. If they could make the way you handle the weapons like Contractors or Pavlov id be hooked.

Good concept, trash game. I really wanted to like this game because I love 3 gun, and I was just thinking how much I wished H3 had shooting stages, it has all these cool guns but like 4 things to shoot at. Well, I guess the answer to the question nobody has asked is "realistic gun sims with sub-par target ranges are better than realistic range sims with sub-par guns." There is no way to readjust the play space (can teleport around the box, but can't rotate the field of view) Floor is at my knees half the time, and gray screens running on an RTX 2080. Controls are poop and a half. Can't tell if the guns don't track well because the game is broken or because I can't rotate my FoV away from shiny stuff, but I suspect the former because Space Pirate faces the same area of my room and I don't have tracking issues there. At one point in a stage the pistol I was holding jumped a foot to the left, but was still hitting targets I was pointing at which says to me my rig knew where the controller was, but the game wasn't translating it correctly. Let's talk about guns, which is the biggest reason to avoid this game. The realism is way off, but not in a fun way. The shotguns and ARs seem to have their recoil swapped since the AR kicks like a donkey when it shoots what appear to be explosive rounds, but the shotgun can zip through the clay line like a compensated .22 bullseye gun. No clue how ballistics is figured, but the AR which has it's acog's zero knob turned to "lol wats yardage" can shoot close range or across a field with the same P.O.I. but the handgun can't hit anything that isn't 15 yards or closer. The gun models don't mean anything, they just dress up the same shoddy shooting mechanics in different skins. It's easier to play this game with one controller, and you probably should because if your offhand brushes the table it'll pick up whatever is closest automatically and you can't drop it in stage unless it's into a dump barrel which makes the gun inaccessible, so hopefully you're ambidextrous. (Turns out this is intended to be played with one controller per the tutorial level) You can spam reload to basically ignore reloading mechanics. There's no options menu besides language and predetermined graphics settings.
I got the chance to play this game before it’s official release. I love the competitive shooting sport concept in virtual reality. For sure it is not a replacement of real shooting sport but this game provide an environment for enhance the stage planning with some foot works. Frankly it takes me 15mins to get use the control. Hope this game can connect more competitive shooting over the world. Keep it up!
I like it. Having shot all my life, this is a nice winter distraction. However, I would like the option to at least remove optics on the pistols. It DID crash repeatedly when trying to try Classifiers. I got into once, accidentally, when I first started the game. I returned to main menu, played beginner stuff to learn how the game worked, and went back to Classifiers. Never could get back into it. Clearly a problem that should be fixed, but not one that warrants a negative review out of the gate. Edit: Two controller use is in beta. Reloading my pistol was a challenge because my magazine hand is apparently heavily coated in Teflon and magazine-repelling particles; the game continuously dropped it unless I was ultra careful and withdrew my hand slowly.
What an impressive and immersive experience. This game pretty well captures shooter mechanics very well. My gear is WMR that works very well in both standing and room-scale mode. From Team B's 1st game Drills to 3gun ,I saw lots of improvement on the control as well as the graphics. On the whole the game is an awesome time.Looking forward to see their new ranges packages with new element coming.
The virtual hand control is super wonky. Multiple times I had guns either go spinning off into space (even though they would reappear in my hands when firing) or end up being gripped way out in front of me in space where it is also unusable. This mainly happened with the AR platform. I'm excited to try this but the game is definitely going to need some bug fixes. I'll mark recommended because it's a great idea but only on the promise of updates very soon.
After they added in both hands and reloading I give this a solid recomend, especially at this price. It's got some work ahead of it but as far as 3 gun related stuff I do view this as the best one available at present and the devs seem to actually be actively working on this. Really wish the various tooltip and leaderboard menus overlayed on the controller are distracting, and it seems to need an insane sized playspace (though I swore the last version had teleport prior to the round starting), but all in all its a definite buy at this price.
well the reviews pretty much got it right allot of potential - wasted by the clunky controls (and graphics) in Israel you only can pull the gun out of the holster in a gun range, so I was hoping for something I can train at home, and this seemed to have what it takes - but it just not fun \ flowing - they should of just copy the Pavlov's controls they work.. although the one hand operating should become handy, this is an issue with a pistol in other games- but it's not very handy for a rifle - so what ever mix a gun and a rifle is impossible to mitigate. I'm guessing not a lot of people have 3 meter of space to run sideways what is needed in most of the stages and sometime the "start" button is way far from your position, you need to physically walk 1-2 meters to get there sometimes the respawn point is in the wall and you need to walk back for ~1 meter this is very frustrating when you play in a room and don't have that space available (could not find a way to navigate using the controllers) I'm hoping that at some point the developers will find the way to control this, otherwise this is
