Look, I dropped 120 bucks on Dark Fantasy 3D Puzzle and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I don’t regret a single cent. This game hit different. Like, actually different. The atmosphere is so thick you can feel the damp stone walls and the smell of old blood. Puzzles aren’t just hard—they’re mean in the best way. They make you think, then punish you, then reward you. I’ve never felt so satisfied solving something since I was a kid with those metal wire puzzles. The art direction is insane. Every corridor, every statue, every flickering torch looks handcrafted with hate and love at the same time. Sound design is on another level. The distant chants, the chains dragging, the low rumble when something awakens… chef’s kiss. I lost entire nights to it. Like, 4 a.m. becomes 8 a.m. without noticing. The lore is scattered in notes, carvings, environmental storytelling—never spoon-fed. You earn every piece. When that final mechanism clicked in the Abyss Cathedral I just sat there staring at the screen for like ten minutes. Not gonna lie, I felt something close to peace. Weird ass zen moment. 120 dollars is steep, yeah. But compared to triple-A live-service garbage that costs the same and gives you nothing? This is a steal. No microtransactions, no season pass, no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Just a complete, brutal, beautiful experience. I’ve already started a second playthrough on the hardest difficulty because I miss the tension. My friends think I’m exaggerating. They haven’t played it yet. They will understand. The combat (what little there is) is clunky on purpose. It’s not about fighting—it’s about surviving long enough to solve the next thing. Every death teaches you something. Every reset feels fair. I found myself taking screenshots of random corners because the lighting was too pretty to ignore. If you like your brain being gently tortured while looking at gothic nightmare art, this is it. It’s not perfect. Some puzzles border on obtuse. But even that feels intentional. I haven’t touched another game since I beat it. Nothing else measures up right now. Worth every dollar. Easily one of the best things I’ve played in years. If it ever goes on sale I’ll still tell people to pay full price because it deserves it. I’m not even religious but I had a spiritual experience in the final chamber. Call me dramatic, idc. This ♥♥♥♥ touched something deep. Dark Fantasy 3D Puzzle didn’t just entertain me. It haunted me in the good way. I’m keeping the tab open to buy the inevitable DLC the second it drops. No notes. Just gratitude. And mild obsession. Mostly obsession. Yeah. Best 120 I’ve spent in gaming. Hands down. If you’re on the fence, jump. You’ll hate yourself for waiting this long. That’s it. I’m going back in.
I really liked the game concept! I've always enjoyed that type of game.
