Love the game!
2025: Mosaic Retrospective is a hybrid Picross and Minesweeper type game, with a heavy emphasis on the latter. The puzzle grid is gigantic, freeform, and separated into dozens of sections, allowing players to choose whatever they want to solve. However, the puzzle solving does stay the same for the entire grid and doesn’t go into more advanced puzzle solving, which some might see a downside. The hint system nudges players toward progress without outright telling them what to do, which I greatly appreciate. Upon finishing most sections, the game recounts and offers commentary on events from 2025. The commentary does have a slight lean to it but it’s not fake or controversial, contrary to what some reviews say. This game is great for relaxing and passing time, which is greatly enhanced by its jazzy soundtrack. You really can’t go wrong with it for the low low price of free.

Great game
It's not as good as Mosaic Of The Strange, due to lack of difficulty options... this one is a little too simple for my tastes, you only ever need to use the basic solving technique. But it's still a relaxin' good time.

charming
It's a good puzzle game with well placed hints, so every cell has a defined state. The hint system gives a solvable part per activation, some times I wished I could indicate the region for which I'd like to receive a hint, as I normally solve one after the other.
It's fine to pass the time.
List of facts and trues driven by narrow politic narrative kills all the joy of observing result which game asks you to achieve -shpawen
