that asking price, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!! this was part of a huge bundle of games for like 1$ you can trade or pick it up for next to nothing got a few bugs and the game play is meh 3/10

A great digital conversion of an Academy Games title. The UI is intuitive and game play is easy to pick up. I enjoy the board games in the Birth of America series quite a bit and appreciate having an AI opponent, both to play against and practice various ideas for FTF games. One of the better games from HexWar, in my opinion.

Un wargame de HexWar Games Ltd al igual que 1775: Rebellion, con el mismo sistema de juego pero basado en la invasión de Canada y que enfrenta los ejercitos de Estados Unidos y los de la Gran Bretaña Canadiense que por aquella epoca controlaban el País. Al ser el mismo modo de juego y solo cambiar el escenario os emplazo si quereis saber mas del juego a ver la reseña que tengo hecha de 1775: Rebellion. Si lo se soy un vago, pero sería escribir lo mismo de un juego para el otro. Recomendado para los amantes de Wargames y juegos de estrategia de tablero bien portados al pc

This game is different from most of HexWars games. Perhaps in the early days they tried different things. Anyway, this game is similar to RISK, in that you have a certain number of armies with which you will fight your enemies to see if you can control more areas of land than your foe. There are four different scenarios. Highly recommend.

Sehr nette Adaption eines Brettspiels mit sachlicher Grafik und angenehmen Sound. Die Spiellänge beträgt ca. 30-45 Minuten (drei Matches hatte ich gemacht). Im Singleplayer war die KI überlegen, was aber bei mir keine Kunst ist ;) Kriege werden ausgewürfelt, ähnlich wie bei Risiko. Da verliert schon mal die größere Armee, ob man will oder nicht. Im Multiplayer war keiner zu sehen, sonst hätte ich das gerne ausprobiert. Unter 3 Tacken im Sale für Genre-Fans OK, für den aktuellen Preis auf keinen Fall.

I . . . did not even manage to finish 1 battle, it may be that I am just terrible and was unable to figure out how the game works. But I know I dont like a game when I can not complete even 1 mission. Also letting it on possitive review bcz I repeat, it may be me that is terrible. Who knows ?

It's a great boardgame, but this implementation is terrible. The main problem is the AI is awful. I'm not a frequent player of the boardgame, and yet I've never lost vs the AI on the hardest setting. Also, that hardest setting let's the AI cheat and get an extra space of movement each turn. That's enough to make this unplayable, but if you want to play vs a human, there's still a problem. You can't turn off the animations, so you have to wait for the useless marching and dice rolling animations each turn. Really slows down the game. It's too bad as this (along with its sister games) is a really fun boardgame. But the AI here is braindead.
