Her damit! :-)
Developed by Jetdogs Studios and Zoom Out Games, and published by Jetdogs Studios, 12 Labours of Hercules X: Greed for Speed is another enjoyable chapter in the long-running time management series that continues to blend Greek mythology with accessible strategy gameplay. This installment introduces a story centered on an incredibly fast creature whose reckless dash across the land leaves chaos in its wake, prompting Hercules and his allies to restore order while uncovering the mystery behind the magical speed. Although the narrative remains lighthearted, it provides an entertaining backdrop for a campaign filled with colorful locations, humorous moments, and steadily increasing challenges that fit perfectly within the franchise's casual style. At its core, the game follows the familiar formula of collecting resources, clearing blocked paths, repairing damaged structures, and completing objectives before the clock runs out. Every stage functions like a strategic puzzle where success depends on making smart decisions rather than simply clicking quickly. Players must carefully determine which resources to gather first, when to upgrade buildings, and how to assign workers efficiently in order to maintain momentum throughout each level. As new mechanics and obstacles are introduced, the gameplay becomes increasingly rewarding for players who enjoy optimizing their strategies and finding the fastest possible solutions. The defining feature of Greed for Speed is its emphasis on movement-enhancing abilities and magical boosts. Temporary speed increases play an important role in solving later stages efficiently, encouraging players to think ahead before activating them. Proper timing can significantly reduce completion times, making these mechanics feel meaningful instead of being simple gimmicks. Hidden bonuses scattered throughout the campaign further encourage exploration and replayability, rewarding observant players who take the time to search beyond the most obvious routes. The campaign offers a healthy variety of environments inspired by mythological landscapes, ranging from peaceful forests and scenic coastlines to icy mountain regions and other visually distinct settings. Each location introduces fresh layouts and environmental challenges that require players to adjust their strategies instead of relying on the same routine. In addition to the main stages, bonus levels and optional challenges extend the game's longevity by presenting more demanding objectives for experienced players seeking perfect scores or full achievement completion. Artistically, the game embraces a cheerful cartoon style that complements its relaxed atmosphere. Bright colors, expressive character animations, and detailed environments make every level visually inviting without overwhelming the player. The high-definition presentation keeps the interface clean and readable, allowing players to monitor resources and objectives with ease. The soundtrack maintains an upbeat tone throughout the adventure, while sound effects provide satisfying feedback whenever tasks are completed or resources are gathered. Together, the visuals and audio create a polished presentation that remains enjoyable from beginning to end. Accessibility remains one of the series' greatest strengths. The mechanics are simple enough for newcomers to understand quickly thanks to the interactive tutorial, yet the pursuit of perfect completion times provides enough depth for veteran players. Multiple ways to approach many stages encourage experimentation, and the gradual difficulty curve ensures that new mechanics are introduced at a comfortable pace. Collectibles, achievements, and unlockable rewards provide additional incentives to revisit completed levels and improve previous performances. The game's biggest limitation is its reliance on an already well-established formula. Returning players will recognize many familiar mechanics, interface elements, and progression systems, with the speed-focused additions serving as evolutionary improvements rather than dramatic innovations. The story, while charming, primarily exists to support the gameplay instead of delivering memorable character development or emotional depth. Nevertheless, the consistently well-designed levels and satisfying strategic gameplay ensure that the experience remains engaging despite its familiarity. Overall, 12 Labours of Hercules X: Greed for Speed successfully delivers another polished and entertaining adventure for fans of casual strategy and time management games. Its combination of resource optimization, puzzle-solving, mythology-inspired storytelling, vibrant presentation, and thoughtful level design creates an experience that is both relaxing and mentally engaging. While it does not dramatically reinvent the franchise, it confidently builds upon its strongest ideas and offers enough fresh mechanics to keep the formula enjoyable. Players looking for a charming strategy game with approachable mechanics and plenty of replay value will find this entry to be another worthy addition to the Hercules series. Rating: 6/10
Good all around Hercules game. If you like this series, you'll like this game. With that said, some levels are noticeably harder than others and feel out of place for this series. There's a small number of levels that I failed to beat after 6 or 7 tries which is unheard of for a Hercules game. Resorted to using the Guide and learned half the resources and upgrades in those level aren't even needed. Given the casual nature, those levels feel like a design over-site rather then an intentional decision to make them challenging.
Buen juego para pasar el rato.
I'm happy to report that the difficulty at the casual level has kicked it up a notch in this one! I've played all of them and easily got gold in all games except this one! Got silver and even bronze in a few of them. Not sure I'd pay full price for it, considering the content and price of the predecessors, but it's still just as solid as the previous games!
Will a 64-bit version be made anytime soon?
Certains tableaux sont très différents des jeux précédents Some level are very different than usual
