Zuma-like puzzle game with RPG elements and some short VN-like hentai stories. Does this warrant expenditure? Among the sea of cheap hentai-charged puzzle games, a Zuma-like title stands out a bit. I can't recall any other game with such qualities, but is the novelty enough to leave you with positive feelings - that is the question. After a short loading screen you might be surprised to see Chinese, so for non-Chinese players I recommend changing the language first. Once you find your bearings, you might want to try the fight option to start the main challenge - the Zuma puzzle. As simple as that. Zuma is just a variation of match-3 combined with rail shooter and puzzle bobble, where balls you need to eliminate move on a rail towards a central point, and damage you if they manage to reach it. Here, you additionally fight against one of the waifus, who unleash various skills that either damage your health bar or make your task harder in some way. You win once you deplete the hit points of your opponent. There are three challengers, and each has three stages. The difficulty increases as you progress through the stages of each waifu. Overall, the 3rd stage of each rival poses some moderate challenge, but it should not take anyone much time to tackle them all, especially since you can buy some upgrades in the shop. Speaking of which, you can upgrade some of your stats(invisible aside HP) and items/skills which you can equip before the battles. Every win unlocks a respective reward story, where a horrible English translation presents you with some hentai scenario. All stories belong to the netori variation of the NTR flavor,i.e.: you're doing the stealing. To be honest, this is not my type of hentai, at all. I find little to no enjoyment in such scenarios, but for those who revel in such themes, it might be seen as a bonus incentive. Later you can also access the 'Extra' menu option where you can interact with the unlocked hentai scenes. That's more or less what you get here. Since this was my first Zuma experience, I found enough enjoyment to justify my expenditure. Still, I'm sort of an amateur of cheap puzzle games(and hentai), so I tend to have light judgment on such products. It is only a good purchase if you share this sentiment. As for the art, it is decent enough at this price point. There are three lightly animated waifus, with a decent amoung of detail, but very limited number of poses. Surprisingly, one of the NPCs has a character model too, and even the player has character picture; no faceless protag-kun here. Too bad you're the villain here. The hentai scenes are so-so. The animation loops are short, movements are stiff, and some clipping occurs. Not the top quality but could be worse. The Extra section adds some interactivity to the hscenes, but they look very unnatural and disconnected from the rest of the animation. For a budget title quality is decent. The music implemented here acts like a background filler. It is there, but not very noticeable, and definitely not memorable. Simple calm tunes eliminating silence. What is less common, is the music gallery where all tracks can be checked if you feel like it. Not a bad addition if you ask me. Wish the tracks were more catchy. No bugs were encountered. In conclusion, if you really like Zuma and badly translated hentai stories, plus decent art and generic music, then this might be a good choice. Still, wait for a discount and be aware of what you're getting here: 4.6/10
