About
Zone-0 was created in just one week as a showcase of our free, publicly available Unreal Engine framework. This short horror experience was built to demonstrate how quickly and effectively developers can build immersive worlds with it — and we challenged ourselves to push its capabilities to the limit.
It was supposed to be a quiet goodbye. You’re just a low-clearance guard posted at the front gate of a sprawling facility no one talks about. For years, you watched people come and go—never knowing what went on behind the reinforced walls. Now the project is being shut down. Decommissioned. Stripped for parts and packed away like it never existed. But on your final shift, something goes wrong. The ground shakes. Pipes burst. Sirens wail in. Whatever was buried in the dark isn’t staying quiet. You were never meant to see what’s inside. But now, there’s no turning back.
Navigate flickering tunnels, broken labs, and looping corridors. The deeper you go the more you start to understand.
No combat. Just immersive, sound-driven tension, environmental interaction, and storytelling.

Its OK if you haven't ever played a walking simulator. It did have my attention for around 10 minutes but progression is just convoluted, not so badly that it hurts, just so much that I felt no drive to continue after 4th or 5th locked door. Alt-F4 and now I'm here.

Zone-0, ücretsiz oyun çerçevelerimizden birini kullanarak oluşturulmuş psikolojik bir korku deneyimidir ve onunla neler yaratabileceğinize dair ürpertici bir bakış sunar.
The jumpscares got me. I'm invested in the story. That being said, no way to tell current keycard level or what the objective is. No changing settings without completely restarting. With a bit of fixing this could be even better. I totally wish it were longer but still good as a short experience. 7/10 I feel bad for that hazmat guy though.
Zone-0 is a horror game that manages to be both genuinely creepy and really fun to play. The atmosphere is thick and immersive – like walking through a nightmare. The sound design and visuals are spot-on, creating tension without relying too much on cheap jumpscares. The gameplay is engaging – there’s always something happening, but the game also gives you room to explore and absorb the environment. The story is intriguing. I genuinely felt like I was part of this “Zone-0” lab. If you enjoy atmospheric horror games with a strong narrative and immersive vibe, this one is definitely worth playing. A must-try for fans of the genre.
Was a good way to use up 45 minutes, wasn't too hard to figure stuff out and only got spooked a couple times. I wanna see more from this team.
A few jumpscares got me and I only got stuck one time. Short fun horror game with spooky goth baddie monster lol. Another good indie horror game :)
An Indie Psychological Horror Experience Worth Exploring Zone-0 offers a gripping and atmospheric dive into psychological horror, built on a free game framework that demonstrates just how much can be achieved with creativity and focus. Even in the early moments of gameplay, the attention to mood and tension is immediately clear. The game crafts an eerie sense of isolation and dread through subtle environmental design, smart audio cues, and an unsettling narrative tone. While I didn’t get too far into the experience, what I did play showed strong potential. The controls felt responsive, and the pacing—slow, deliberate, and unnerving—fit perfectly with the genre. There's a raw charm here, a kind of experimental boldness that’s refreshing in the indie scene. Zone-0 doesn’t just serve as a horror game—it’s a showcase of what can be built using the developer’s free framework, and it succeeds in inspiring curiosity both in gameplay and game design. If you're a fan of psychological horror or indie titles that push the envelope with limited resources, Zone-0 is worth your time. Great game go check it out! p.s keep an eye out for wavys EcoBot shud be able to wish list soon!
Well, the problem I have with this game is that this is advertised as a walkthrough type game. So I got to the part with the big wall with the two statues in front of it, managed to find one of the items to activate one statue, and could not for the life of me find the other. Since this is supposed to be a walkthrough game, and since I was unable to finish it through no fault of my own, unfortunately I have to give it a thumbs down. It's really too bad because right up until that part, I was really enjoying the plot.
