15 different mini-game variations on the wave shooter, but they're all bad. Ugly looking, mostly black & white game with very basic enemy models. Gun handling is one of the worst I have ever played in VR, I shot zombies right in front of me and missed somehow (gun angle is way off by default). You have full locomotion, but no turning sometimes .... other times you can't move at all. It's free to play. That's the only good thing I can say about this title. There are much better free VR games on Steam. Rate 3/10. It's bad, but you don't need to take my word for it. You can download it free today!
I gave this a chance in the sale as it seems that nobody else wanted to, its been out since May... I had fun playing this game, I was pleasantly surprised by the game-play. Yes it has simplistic graphics, but it makes up for it with quality fun moments. I this a series of, mini-game challenges with progressively harder levels which I will be playing again. See below for my first impressions and a review score. https://youtu.be/KrqqQL4Suxs

Zomcade is a free to play VR game. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has 15 mini-games. Lobby is themed like a video game arcade. Needs more instructions, some mini-games have stuff that was not covered. This was a paid product at one time, now it is free game. Graphics are not the best. The gun controls are sort of difficult in VR. Has a shooting range to learn to use and shoot guns. Try it, if you like arcade games.
Zomcade, Steam VR için zorlu bir aksiyon-korku arcade tarzı oyundur. Kendinizi 15'ten fazla farklı oynama şekline kaptırın.
Oh boy....
Boring doesn't begin to explain what this game feels like. And I've developed a new and comprehensive rag to give to game developers. Now hear me out. You know that one person in your friend group that didn't die from COVID because their passion is Art Design? Okay, well if that guy/gal/nyanbinary is still alive and you decide "Hey I wanna make a game, maybe I'll get 'Art Design is my passion' person to help me!" Let them be the one to do the entire art design, or have them lead it if what they give you is a good product. This game has a very inconsistent setup. Honestly one of the better systems for level selection, but the game falls off outside of that, art becomes basic and polygonal, while the games simply afford you the experience of another Call of Duty Zombies rip-off. Not everyone can eat that game, it's very uninspired already for the most part, so why not do something new and different? It's VR for crying out loud. I know the game is free, but did it have to be this free?
Visual glitches abound, and I didn't like the gameplay much,
Before I played Zomcade, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
"Zomcade" is a lame Unity asset flip, fight waves of zombies in VR in various half-baked environments, partially filled with assets and otherwise just stock textured buildings because I guess the developer couldn't be bothered downloading more of other people's assets to pretend are his. Plagiarism is bad, and so is laziness when doing asset flips for cash. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $5 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the game all-time peak player count was only ONE . That's right, only one person ever played this at a time. When I played this for the purposes of reviewing it, I equalled the peak player count for the asset flip. OUCH. The only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. And that's from a "free" game. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
