It is a sequel to Zero spring episode 1. First you can choose to display the previous synopsis so you can enjoy it without playing the previous game. Although the previous work was FPS, it became JRPG to express the story completely from episode 2.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

A person whom i once called my friend bought this game, as well as the first episode, as some sort of cruel joke. While episode 1 was an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in it's own right, it was at least bad enough to be enjoyable to play through for the half hour it took us. Episode 2 has changed pace to a game that i am not unconvinced is somehow running the RPGmaker engine in a 3d game. The dialogue is terrible, due to not only poor translation, but frequent typos and just general incompetence. This game was clearly hastily built and i honestly believe a lot of it was never tested. the level geometry is frequently broken, with doors appearing out of frames, walls just missing whenever a window is placed, and other amateur mistakes that could easily be remedied with a tiny bit of effort on the dev's part. Everything was going just grand until i got to what appeared to be the final areas of the game, when i encountered a door with a 3 digit code. as far as we could tell, the code was linked to a riddle on a bookcase, which was tied to some statues on the upper floor of the building. We brute forced every single answer we could think of but the door would not open. I am left to believe that either the riddle was completely botched in the translation, leaving it unsolveable to english speaking audiences, or the developer just somehow didn't test that the code worked in the first place. whatever you do, do not buy this game.

The continuation of Zero Spring Episode 1, but at the start of the game you can read the story of the first one to catch up on what's going on. What is going on? Ummm you're a police and investigate? https://youtu.be/QndlxkhWiNc
Zero Spring Episode 2 is a Smile Game Builder first person "JRPG" style game with a crime investigation theme that has you moving around some rather lazily, badly assembled townscapes slapped together with stock Smile Game Builder assets and wading through some of the most atrociously translated English I've ever had the misfortune of reading. Google Translate would have done a better job. Unsurprisingly, we once more see the correlation between developers that don't know enough about game development that they have to use construction kits also not knowing enough about game development to do the rest of the job (eg, story, plot, level design, game mechanics, decent gameplay, decent graphics, etc etc etc). Apparently this is second in a series of 3, and the first game was made with GameGuru? How bad can things get? From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets (mostly asset flips from Smile Game Builder), making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the Smile Game Builder RPG construction kit. This is a very poor quality construction kit sometimes used by non-English amateur developers as it's free (so they don't have to pay for GameMaker Studio) and doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities (it's arguably worse than GameGuru). Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The game is currently free, but the developers were charging money for it. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration, but this is also in some ways an acknowledgement that the game failed to achieve any commercial success (unsurprising due to the quality issues). It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. The quality here is simply too low for me to recommend, even for free.
Bu, Zero Spring 1. bölümünün devamı niteliğindedir. Öncelikle önceki özeti görüntülemeyi seçebilir, böylece önceki oyunu oynamadan da keyfini çıkarabilirsiniz. Önceki çalışmamız FPS olsa da 2. bölümden itibaren hikayeyi tamamen anlatmak JRPG oldu.
Unfair
There are many problems to be have with this game. On the review side this fairness is absent seemingly. This can be contributed as lost due to translation mishaps. Translations can turn a story to bad and ruin diving in the game. This is the case, the translation is bad that so many of quest objective, story, and even ability get lost. It doesn't need help. Limitations existed on many games made with RPG maker programs. It does have "seemingly" individual character photos, but upon examination, you can see that all characters are using the same face/model for all. The shape and colour is oddly 3D-rendered, with just different hair and eyes. Weirder than this is the fact that the 3D-Rendered models and world have chibi art style, while the profiles and dialogues have weird uncanny looks. It would look fine have they made maybe same style of art for profiles of characters and dialogue boxes. Every game in series have different art style. Why this? Why only number 2 free, but number 1 and 3 cost money? The story have todo with mutants and cops and psychics. I'm unsure, I lost because you play as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pig cop. Final Fantasy I blame for making cop job seem cool and that grindy, motionless, souless, turn-based-strategy games can ever be considered anything more than ♥♥♥♥.
TL;DR
Hey, if you thought that this review was really annoying and hard to read, consider that what you read is about the level of comprehensive dialogue you'll get from the game. It's all jumbled up, some words don't even seem to fit, and others simply make the context hard to understand. Some words don't translate well, when I was writing this review I tried putting everything into Chinese (simplified) and then translating it back to English. The weirdest words like programmer/program were replaced by something completely different, same with "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pig cop," and render/rendered. I had to fake the translation in this review. It ain't worth the headache. Skip this game, you'll find something worth it eventually.
I don't think this follows the story of the first game very well. But I could be wrong. Has enough Engrish to give a language professor a brain bleed.
Humm... Where to start... I downloaded this game because it seemed to be made with the smile game builder engine... Really disappointed... :(
