The account linking feature is so broken. Don't expect to be able to play on multiple different platforms if you mess up! In fact, don't even bother playing the game at all. It's not really that fun to begin with even if you do everything correctly.

The game as a simulator is great. If you enjoy YUGIOH in all of its aspects you will likely enjoy the game for a good few hours. The game has lots of positive aspects; ascetically very nice looking game with a number of well made and enjoyable cosmetic items, great for free to play users (the game gives in game currency in decent amount and frequently), makes YUGIOH easier to pickup and learn how to play then trying to do so with cardboard, and this game makes dueling with friends easy and accessible. That all being said Konami seems to be actively trying to kill this game. The game has a number of issues that the playerbase is very active about and is calling for change. Konami however instead of listening to its consumers seems to be actively disregarding them. These issues and lack of response have become exhausting and this is reflected in the further decrease in people playing the game. This review comes from someone who loves YUGIOH and has played it for many years. I've played the game through both the highs and the lows but I think that I'm to a point where it might be time to take a break and put the game down for awhile.

本月融合杯真是我玩过最恶心的杯赛,升段局100%烂牌后手。
Coinflip simulator that I wasted hundreds of dollars and hundreds of hours of my life on. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Spend your time and money on games you’ll actually enjoy.
My blue eyes white dragon got stolen and i lost HORRIBLE game

The playable parts of the game are not bad and it feels disingenuous to give it bad review. That being said, this is NOT a good place to restart your Yu-Gi-Oh journey. Old-school Yu-Gi-Oh was about managing simple card advantage with things like pulling off a clean tribute summon or flipping a well-timed Mirror Force. Modern Yu-Gi-Oh stopped being a card game a long time ago and turned into a game of real-time software engineering. Every single card text is a mini legal contract with specific triggering conditions, mandatory vs. optional effects, and clauses designed to bypass turn restrictions. Trying to read a modern card while someone is comboing off feels like trying to parse tax code under gunfire. The synergy barrier is brutal because modern archetypes don't just have cards that work well together; they have linear, pre-packaged optimization trees. If you miss a single text clause about what you can or cannot activate after a specific summon, your entire hand is locked out for the turn. You either have to spend hours watching YouTube breakdown guides or read through wikis just to understand why a 40-card pile does what it does. That is why jumping back into it blind feels like getting hit by a freight train.
