You're Not Family

I can fully recommend everyone to play this (unless you absolutely hate rhythm games, maybe). The story is very deep and moving (read the other reviews for more details), and the gameplay is simple but works well and fits the story. The game is very short but this is mentioned in the description and the game is free, so this is not a negative at all. More people need to see and play this game! I hope to see more games from Atiya in the future!

This game is very brief but has a strong message. I think it could use quick instructions but maybe I'm just dumb because it took a second to figure out.

You're Not Family is an incredibly short experience. The story may have you feeling like you're playing incorrectly at first but it's the way of the world Atiya has shown us. The darling art style and cute bunnies is balanced with a harsh reality of how it feels to a member of a toxic family and those unhealthy habits we carry with us long after we've escaped them. The game is short enough I recommend playing even if that doesn't speak to you, and if it does? Open the game one more time after you've finished, the little message there is one more reminder that you aren't alone.

A very short game with a simple but very important message. Unfortunately this is just how it is with families at times, they don't get you, they make it all worse, at some point you just need to realize that you can't do anything to make them approve of you. Sometimes it's best to leave them all behind.

I can relate to this game and that's enough for me.

This is absolutely gorgeous. Cleanly designed, a very interesting and beautiful way to tell this story. You should be incredibly proud of this piece of art.
