Ynglet: Prologue presents the first levels of my new game Ynglet! You’ll jump between bubbles that float in the sky like you’re a space dolphin, as you melt into a highly reactive and dynamic soundtrack created by Ynglet’s custom (and needlessly complicated) music software!
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

About
Ynglet: Prologue is a short and sweet introduction - a prologue if you will - to the upcoming game, Ynglet by Nifflas!
A Floating non Platformer
Absolutely no platforms (which is really unusual for a platformer)!
Fluid Difficulty
Find the level of challenge that suits you with granular difficulty settings. The ability to set quick respawn points at any time means repeating frustrating sections is never required.
Feel Good
Dash into walls that reflect you. It feels really good and looks awesome!
Did I mention there are no platforms?
Reactive Soundscape
A highly reactive and dynamic soundtrack thanks to Ynglet's custom and needlessly complicated music software.
Doodles for days
The hand-drawn art style takes a fresh ‘illustrated’ approach, reminiscent of expressive doodles come to life. There’s lots of unusual creatures doing their own thing, making the world feel alive.
I have made a lot of other games before like Knytt, Uurnog, and Affordable Space Adventures but I really hope you will like this game too!" / Nifflas

Awesome little teaser for the main game, the art style and gravity platforming design is beyond fantastic, looking forward to playing the main game soon!
Before I played Ynglet: Prologue, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
A cute little platform game with cazy but delicate colors and a kind of zen aesthetic with an ost made of bells and gongs which make you think about buddhist temples and symmetric geometries that are reminescents of mandala or damasque patterns. The gameplay is cool, but a bit too simple for me and not really interesting. Also, it's weird how on the map there is a top view, but in levels you feel gravity from the bottom on the screen so it seems like a side view, but the character looks the same (symmetry? ok, but make it a bit messy to my eyes) You'll probably like it if you liked little big planets and those nice simpler platform :)
没玩懂是在干嘛
Superbe, ambiance à tomber, des casses têtes de bonnes difficultés. La démo se termine rapidement, mais est bien démonstrative du jeu. Marche parfaitement avec proton.
A lovely, bizarre platformer. You control what I think is some kind of organism that 'swims' through platforms as though they were water. The challenge comes from maintaining your momentum on bigger gaps between 'platforms', and figuring out what exactly everything on screen actually is. This isn't a complaint; the obtuse nature of the visuals gives a lot of 'Eureka' moments as you figure out what exactly certain things do, such as lines that launch you in a certain direction like cannons from Donkey Kong, or lines that bounce you away like trampolines. The absence of hand-holding requires you to wrap your head around each mechanic as its presented, and the merciful checkpoint system helps this a lot. There's only a few levels in this demo, but I'd be curious to see if the devs can make a full game where each level introduces new mechanics for players to understand, and how different mechanics could interact with each other. I'm also wondering if this game would ever have a level editor, as outside of some collectibles, there's not too much replay value to the levels at the moment. The audio and visuals are beautiful and strange, so being able to try this without paying feels like a great experience. Give it a shot, see what you think about it!
It's fun and relaxing and just challenging enough. It's nice to look at. I wish the music would vary more from section to section. The little color explosions are like a fireworks prize celebration when you find them.
Great short demo with simplistic, but interesting art style and fantastic IDM. Can't wait for the full game!
