Yeli Orog is a short atmospheric FMV game about an immense archaeological discovery: A bizarre stone tablet written in the Celtiberian language found buried underneath an ancient dolmen in northern Spain.

When Riven meets Lovecraft. Some nice ideas alongside some weird flaws. On the overall it's fun to discover for about an hour & it's free!
Visuals, audio, and story are all fantastic but leaves a lot to be desired as far as gameplay goes. The puzzle where you
need to figure out a sequence of symbols so you check your phone to find the news about the three kids making costumes that hardly resemble the symbols they're supposed to be representing
is lowkey broken. The
shooting section
is really weird, as well.

Menuda puta mierda.
A fun little distraction. The mood of the game is right and the use of live action footage is refreshing.
TBH I have mixed feelings for this game. I like the fmv flavor and I like the idea but it feels a bit too much like a fever dream. I found myself often feeling more lost then intrigued. There were moments that I felt incredible tension but at other it felt utterly ridiculous (cough cough laser tagging badly rendered monsters cough cough). But I can tell there was a lot of effort put into this. I feel a little bad by not recommending this game but I'm open minded when it comes to checking out this dev's other work.
Really bad. I respect the effort they put into the 10 page note that gives backstory, but the actual game isn't very good. Sloppy execution, boring game play, and the ending is very weak. Even though the game is free, it isn't worth time. There are so many horror games out there, both free and nearly free, there's no reason to waste time on this.
Both premise of the game and first impression are very promising, especially for the fans of lovecraftian horror. However, even if I have nothing against some rather long reading at the start, the first thing to annoy me was how many unnecessary photos of the room - and, by that, unnecessary clicks - the author decided to put in here. Were they supposed to make me feel paranoid that the next click will show me something scary? Well, didn't work, sorry. After lights went down the game only started to be worse and worse. I finally gave up on cliffs, when another unnecessary clicks came up with company of mostly black screen. I think the idea was good and the plot itself is not bad (very lovecraftian, indeed) but the realisation? Absolutely killing the whole project. In a wrong way.
