Süße Katzen mit mächtigen Wollknäueln, die auch noch fliegen können - das ist Yarn Guardians! <3 Die Story ist schön erzählt, jeder Charakter hat seine eigene Geschichte, der Artstyle ist super cute und die Musik geht ins Ohr. Zudem waren die Kämpfe weder zu leicht noch zu schwer, genau die richtige Herausforderung für mich. Ich kann das Spiel nur weiterempfehlen und freue es mich auch nochmal mit meinem Mann im Couch-Koop zu spielen (Revanche in der Versus-Arena steht noch aus xD)! <3

I received a copy of this game for free to play and review. First I want to say that I was only able to play through solo, so I cannot speak for the co-op, but I had so much fun playing it. I really liked that you could change what cat you were playing, that you could switch out your companion, and I loved dressing them up in little hats. The combat seemed really good, I tried it on both the normal and easy settings. I do think that it would be really nice if you could skip conversations if you are redoing a fight. There were several times that I died during the game and had to restart at the beginning of the fight, so this option would have made the experience a little bit better for me. I also would have loved for the hats to not auto equip when you find them and maybe get a little notification instead. There was also an area where there was a dialog panel that didn't read well, but I can't remember who we were talking to when I got it. I'll have to go back through my vods from my streams to see if I can find it since I forgot to take a screenshot of it. Over all though, the game was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend it.

Twin-stick combat game about cats. Animation is really cute and looks great, especially given the small dev team that worked on it. Gameplay's well balanced and designed, levels are well designed and bosses are fun to fight. May be a bit short for some but not too short given the price point and overall quality I feel. The definitely-a-cat shop owner has dialog referencing Resident Evil 4 which made me clap like a seal when I saw thing I recognized. Yeah it's good. Buy it.

So, I just played through the whole game again alone, after having played it in co-op before. I have to say, it’s definitely harder on single player because the AI buddy isn’t quite as smart. :D You can tell a lot of work and love went into this game. Achievements would be cool, though.

Hello, fellow Cats! This is a fun little game where you scratch and shoot your way - sometimes chill, sometimes chaotic - through the bullet hell of propeller-headed bunnies and other weird enemies. The levels are well-designed, the controls feel great, and the story is genuinely funny with equally hilarious dialogue. It’s definitely a hidden gem that's totally worth checking out. A few small things the devs might want to look into: A marker that shows where your co-op partner is (especially useful when they go down), skippable convos, and maybe a slightly bigger revive range - like when your buddy's down in a trap, so you don’t die trying to save them. Overall, though, super fun and totally recommendable!

Joguei Yarn Guardians durante o beta e simplesmente adorei! Como amante de gatos, foi impossível não me encantar: o jogo é fofo, divertido e cheio de carisma. A personalização dos gatos é um destaque à parte — há várias opções, incluindo até os gatinhos mais fofamente gordinhos. Outro ponto que gostei bastante é o modo cooperativo, que torna a experiência ainda mais divertida com amigos. A jogabilidade me trouxe aquela sensação nostálgica dos jogos que costumava aproveitar no Click Jogos, simples e envolventes, do tipo que fazem você perder horas sem perceber. A história também me surpreendeu de forma positiva e deixou a experiência ainda mais completa. Recebi a key de graça e sou muito grato por isso. Assim que tiver mais tempo, quero jogar até zerar e depois voltar aqui para compartilhar mais sobre minha jornada. Parabéns a toda a equipe do jogo, vocês realmente criaram algo especial! 🐾
