Having played the mediocre main campaign — although I will say that the combat system was significantly upgraded in comparison to the original Yakuza 3 — I didn't have high hopes for Dark Ties. However, I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it, particularly the story. The side content is decent, too.
