not the best Yakuza combat but better content than Kiwami 3, AVOID Kiwami 3 at any cost

its so boring you dont even realize when you finished the game, story is weak and lacks character details, the endingf is just 2 men talking sad words, worst yakuza ive ever played after yakuza 0, i only liked the dog in the end
I liked this one a lot more than I thought I would, it was a bit rough at the start, having just finished K2 and all, but by the end, this is probably my second favourite in the series so far, very underrated in my opinion. The whole "blockuza"-thing can largely be mended by capping the fps to more console-esque 30, which you're probably already used to, if you've played a lot of PS3/X360. I actually really like the punchier combat after K2's, which is a bit on the sluggish side in my opinion. The slower segments in Okinawa are a great change of pace from the action. The game is also a lot shorter than the previous ones, without feeling like it ends too abruptly, unlike K1 and even K2 to a lesser extent, which manage to end a bit abruptly for my taste, while also feeling a bit bloated at the same time (I am nervously looking forward to enduring Y5, while I mention these factors). Overall, if you enjoyed the previous entries, I wholeheartedly recommend this one, just don't buy the stupid Complete Series bundle, buy it on GOG, or just pirate it if you don't have the funds, I'm not your dad.
This is my favourite Yakuza Game, amazing characters and sound track, and fighting system is the best in the series. you cant just spam to win, you need to learn to use combos and grabs... only problem the game has is that some bosses are taking long to beat becouse of huge health bars.
A noticeably flawed game, both storywise and gameplaywise, but it has a lot of heart and can still be fun enough on both of those fronts.
Good, but the combat is a bit clunky compared to the other Yakuza/Like a Dragon games I've played. The main story is incredibly heartfelt. Most of the side stories I played were a bit half baked for my taste.
