pretty cool game. feels kind of half-baked still (not due to lack of achievements but idk overall) somehow felt short and easy, though it's not easy at all actually xd at a baseline, checkpoint system doesn't really force you to get too grippy with more difficult bosses (game literally checkpoints you at EVERY phase change at more longer ones), and alternative to this is too tough imo - beating the whole episode (one out of 3-ish) in one sitting. kind of an overthrow. you could maybe modulate some difficulty settings but this whole thing kind of misses the point then. idk kind of felt like segments between bosses ar maybe a bit too shallow? treasure games had them kind of more challenging, in comparison graphics and music are good and familiar. overall game is fun
(This review might get updated after a while) I Want to be completely neutral and give a honest review of the game since its one of the few games i really anticipated since i played the demo and finally got the chance to buy it. I Played the game in the Arcade mode, hence why the low playtime, i plan to finish the story mode too, with both playable characters, i wanted to focus more on the gameplay rather than the story for now, first i want to mention the controls, which im gonna be completely honest, its kinda hard to get used to, especially switching weapons, i wouldn't mind if, for example, the three weapon type would be able to be selected by the 1 2 and 3 number keys above the q w e buttons, and the dash button is kinda tricky to get used to since i prefer the left mouse button to dash, and sometimes i accidentally pressed the s button when i didn't meant to, it would be appreciated if the controls will be able to be remaped so only one button activates a certain action, aside from that, i didn't experienced much of an issue aside from a bug. And because of that bug i had to restart the game because it kept going to the left when i didn't even pressed the button, luckily it only happened once, and it happened while i pressed down the left and accidentally clicked off the game, but when i pressed it again it just still kept going to the left, there are probably a few more bugs to encounter, but i haven't seen any more of that luckily, Now, about the gameplay, its kind of a mix between Megaman and Cuphead for me, two games which i really like because of their challenge, and this game, definitely has challenge to it too, the bossfights are hard, but not to the point where its unfair unlike certain games, and it always feels satisfying to beat one too, especially the final boss of the game, because oh boy, now thats a real challenge, especially if you play it on default settings like i did for the most part until i switched to a more easier one (don't hate me for this) the character controls fluently and even thought i didn't see more than one level of flying with a ship, it was a bit hard to control it too, but i really liked it, i kinda wish there was more stages like that, especially the boss of that stage, which, spoiler, the name of the boss is Giant Stupid Face, The character Zeta itself is, i don't know, refreshing? interesting? i like the design of it, but, and its just a nitpick from my part, looks a bit too feminine for a king, aside from that, i don't really have anything else to say, other than the game is a bit short, but it definitely worth the prize, because it has replay value, a lot actually, and the hardness just adds more to the challenge to get better at the game and finish it without dying, like the old NES and SNES games. Overall, do i recommend this game? absolutely! i loved my playthrough of it, and i definitely gonna play more with it in the near future, if you looking for a good challenge and a good boss rush game, i can only recommend this, My score overall is a solid 9 out of 10. there are some minor issues with the game, but aside from that, this is a really good game, but i hope it gets a sequel, that maybe be a little bit longer, and also, fixing some bugs, aside from that, again, i love the game, and its definitely in my top 10

Um jogo bom, porém extremamente curto. Devo dizer que a gameplay e chefes do jogo são (pela maior parte) sólidos. Alguns chefes são um pouco sem sal, mas nenhum deles são injustos e todos são divertidos de se enfrentar. A música é... decente.
A hidden gem straight from the Mega Drive
This is a Genesis throwback drawing inspiration from titles like Gunstar Heroes and Dynamite Headdy (especially the latter with its bright, pastel-like colors). Thankfully, this uses a twin-stick control scheme unlike those games which makes aiming a heck of a lot easier. That being said, the game is still *way* harder than those two titles could ever hope to be. If you're looking for a beginner friendly boss rush...keep looking. It took me around two hours to complete my first playthrough and even on my second, I can't help but feel some bosses are too hard for their own good. In addition...the difficulty is kind of all over the place. It wasn't uncommon for me to whip through one boss in one or two tries whereas one of them (Mr. Sleeze's gauntlet) almost took me an hour to figure out and even then I just *barely* scraped by. Definitely a wait for a sale kind of game. I feel the price tag is a little too steep unless you plan on speed-running or putting yourself through the hell of trying to beat the game on one try.
This is a very fun game but most of my playtime is on my switch now that I no longer have a windows system. Great Boss rush game with responsive controls, fantastic art style, and amazing music. The story is on the simple side but definitely still a blast to play.
Hoooh boy. This game. It's fun. I'm not so sure if its for me, but it is still undeniably enjoyable. If you liked stuff like Cuphead and Gunstar Heroes, give this a try!
A very great game made by some cool friends! Has outstanding music, fun gameplay, and looks nice. (Don't pay attention to the fact I'm also doing this to get the Steam Awards badge lol :p)
Great game , a lot of fun and really easy to get into
