juegazo de estrategia por turnos, durisimo hermano. eso hasta reventar el "cargar partida"
top du top depuis de nombreuses années
It's like three-dimensional chess with guns, grenades, and aliens.
XCOM 2 is, in my opinion, the closest thing to a perfect game. What makes it special is everything is perfect, its graphics or even its story, it's the way its systems create your own story. You name, customize, and develop soldiers from rookies into highly specialized veterans. You become attached to them, and when one dies because of a bad decision, it genuinely hurts. Every mission feels meaningful. Every decision has consequences. Do I push forward or extract? Who gets the new weapon? Which soldier should I specialize? Can I afford to risk my best squad? The progression is incredible. You start with an under-equipped resistance movement and gradually build an elite force capable of taking on the aliens. Weapons, armor, abilities, facilities and soldiers constantly evolve, giving you that satisfying feeling of becoming stronger without ever making the game feel completely safe. Most importantly, the game creates memories. The rookie who somehow survived. The sniper who saved the squad. The veteran who died on a mission you thought you'd win. That's why XCOM 2 sits alongside Red Dead Redemption 2 and RimWorld among my favourite games ever. It isn't flawless, but it delivers almost everything I want from gaming: strategy, customization, progression, consequences, replayability and emergent storytelling. 10/10. My idea of a perfect game.
This game has amazing modding support. In the final mission, I had Hatsune Miku, John F Kennedy, Cynthia, Steven He, and Moon Lord. It also ran surprisingly well on my hardware, based on other descriptions I had assumed it would run worse in most cases.
Good gam
genuinely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fire this game makes me want to do backflips
I have somewhat conflicted opinions on this game. I absolutely love it and it has so much content and strategy and depth. buuuuuuut, I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone new to this genre. When I first picked up this game, I had some idea of what it is, because I previously played Marvel's Midnight Suns, although they are both very different games. Coming in as a beginner is possibly one of the worst experience I had trying to learn this game. The game does a TERRIBLE job teaching you mechanics and effects and what not, they spare you NO info, and you basically have to search it up, which is very beginner unfriendly. I spent hours just trying to get pass the first actual mission, and I was on the lowest difficulty!! It might be a skill issue, but I genuinely don't think it is. And don't even get me started on John Bradford and whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the game throws at you. I was absolutely frustrated with this game because I really liked the gameplay, but the lack of info and the difficulty made it unplayable. So instead, I went to the modding route and bought the War of the Chosen DLC. And oh my goodness it was so much more playable. Everything was smooth sailing from that point onwards. Yeah I mod it to be a little easier, but the easiest base difficulty is impossible for beginners, especially things like timers. I enjoyed the customization because in the base game, it did feel kinda limiting. But thanks to modding, I can add anyone and it honestly made it 10x more enjoyable. I modded all the enemies to the Star Wars Galactic Empire, so I just made it nearly a full Star Wars campaign. I did also search up what to proritize researching, because if you don't follow the power creep and focus on the wrong areas, you'll be in a rough spot later. I'm at a point where I love this game, I haven't even completed it and I think there's still more stuff for me to encounter because the game just has such a vast amount of content. It's honestly made me love games like these even more now. I heard that there might not be anymore XCOM games because the team disbanded and it's a shame. Luckily we got that Star Wars Zero Company and it's literally Star Wars XCOM made by some of the people from XCOM, like dude that's literally the perfect game for me. I'd only recommend if you're willing to putting 'effort' into enjoying the game.
