10/10 Experience. Love the story, characters and gameplay a lot. has to be my favorite gacha game i've ever played. highly recommend

gameplay is genuinely very fun. However, it's so poorly optimized, constant lags on my 3060 even with settings turned all the way down. The games recommended settings are 2060, so it makes no sense. it's also 99% dialogue, I'm ok with story-rich games, but this is like 1hr of dialogue for every 5-10 minutes of gameplay. i'd rather just watch an anime.
gooner game
I didn't know wuwa was on steam Me creaming
I'm pretty selective with my gacha games just because I feel like a lot of them, by nature, are predatory and aim to suck up your time like some sort of time succubus. This game doesn't succ though, but it still has predatory gacha mechanics such as 50/50 (there's a 50% chance you just straight up don't get the newest character on the banner but you'll get it on the next one guaranteed which BLOWS.) and the increasing need to get a weapon alongside of it. However, as a person who just pays for the monthly pass pretty much, I always take this as a challenge of teambuilding utilizing the resources that I have, being selective and learning how to build certain teams and understanding that you could get lucky, but you could not is part of the fun for me. And in terms of time, it does take that for sure near the start, but the game has a 240 Energy system, meaning that it takes a full day to fill up your energy and if you happen to go over that, it has a backup reserve that regenerates slower with what overcaps. I respect that, I like that and now that I'm endgame, I can finish my dailies in less then a few minutes upon entering the game. The game needs optimization though, I run a 5080, a relatively weak CPU and the only way to get high frames is through the magic of frame generation which I would love not to run but I have to and it works anyways. It also patches frequently and through the steam client, get ready for "Patch is complete, please restart game." on a weekly basisl, causing you to MANUALLY launch again, absolute pain for a game that takes several minutes from launch to game start. But I love Wuthering Waves, there's a reason I'm still playing it, that it's pretty much the only gacha game I play (I don't want to put time into others, idk how other people balance multiple) and it really does get better year after year. Try it out, it's a hard ask but keep playing until you're in Rinascita and I think it'll click for most.
gute grafik
