early game is full of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ships that control bad and the combat is cool at first but a joke. the UI is atrocious. chat spam pop ups from groups and clans. R&D window for making new ships can seemingly wig out and make you unlock the wrong ship wasting Cringe Xp you have to grind for the exact ship in the chain of its class which is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ STUPID idea clearly trying to make me spend real money to skip since its just that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying/

The greatest cash-grab ongoing in gaming history, simply put: Battleship dispersion are garbage, cruiser spam from the enemy is like being one of the last 5 remaining humans in I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, Destroyers are okay, but are just glorified torpedo boats, carriers are boring outside aerial squadrons, and submarines are submarines.

Just not as fun as it used to be and wouldn't recommend nowadays. The few game modes that are there are stale and the ones we actually like are rotated out of selection every couple of months despite what the community wants. Map selection is somewhat scarce and bland once you've cycled through them. The monetization is also getting out of control with $110+ Admiral packs, they are greedier than Gajin and that says something. There are also too many funny buttons for high tier ships which cause only a handful (or two) of ships to be feasible at that tier making high tier even more cut throat than it needs to be; and that's still not taking into account you can easily get sneezed on from 25km-30km out and die instantly to begin with. To avoid this many players sit behind an island and never move leaving the caps wide open to the enemy since they are not in a position that can look over the cap area. Teamwork at the level is hit or miss (mostly misses) but you can definitely count on teammates cussing each other out for the smallest things or even for nothing. Overall the good days of WoWs are behind it and now it's the devs trying to keep this game from dying even though they are the reason it's in terrible shape.

I have been playing this Naval sim since inception, I did the Alpha and Beta and spent easily over a a grand since then till now, In my honest opinion they have turned this into a carnival for kids, and no longer a historically accurate world war II simulator. I stayed engaged but extremely limited game play hoping they come out with the option "ORIGIN's" like straight up naval combat WWII era and no gimmic's or other BS. if they did this I would be back hard core play!

33 hours of wasted time and energy the matches are always the same, join in, get attacked by 3 or more enemys, die , repeat, there is no reward for the casual player only sweats get the rewards, the progression is also just annoying you get nothing rly out of a match and it takes ages to get a new ship.
