About
World of Tanks: HEAT is a free-to-play vehicle combat game built for dynamic tactical team play. A unique roster of Agents with diverse skillsets and a variety of highly advanced tanks are yours to control. Find your perfect Agent-tank combo, build your ride with hi-tech weaponry, and fight it out in a world where technology and innovation have reinvented tank combat.
HEAT drops you into intense 5v5 skirmishes and larger 10v10 clashes where there’s room for both personal skill and team coordination. There are no "win buttons”; the battlefield is equal for everyone, and victory goes to those who communicate, adapt, and outthink the enemy. Fight, win, lose, master new tricks, and come back stronger every new battle.
Choose your Agent, each with unique abilities that define how you fight, hold ground, and time your strikes to maintain momentum. Every tank in HEAT is upgradable. Tune your tank and mix experimental modules to match your playstyle. Every combination feels different on the battlefield, so experiment until you find what clicks.
HEAT is powered by a completely new engine built from the ground up, with full support for the most advanced lighting systems, particle effects, and VFX available. This makes every explosion, impact, and ability feel like you’re witnessing it live.
HEAT runs seamlessly on PC (Wargaming Game Center and Steam), Steam Deck, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and GeForce NOW. All your Agents and tanks are ready for action, no matter what gear you play on. Log in with a single Wargaming account to sync your progression instantly across all your devices.
HEAT is set in an alternate post-WWII timeline, where science has triumphed and the world blooms with technical marvels. But peace is fragile, and behind the facade of harmony lurks an intensifying arms race. Your arsenal will be packed with cutting-edge technologies, all based on real-life scientific and design concepts. This "what if" machinery is heavy, brutal, and built to shred armor. It is a world where engineering beauty is forged for the frontlines.

ВГшные дауны в своем репертуаре. Сделали все, чтоб в этой игре онлайн был 500 человек. Так держать. Сама игра хорошая. Но что толку если разрабам на нее насрать
For a team play based game it was released with nothing to promote team base game play. No text to chat to communicate with players if you dont have a mic. The quick ping call out system needs alot of work. No in game system to add players you just enjoyed playing with as a friend. You need to have discord linked to your account or have a microphone and go through hoops just to add that person. How this was even released blows my mind. Imagine going to a new restaurant and you hear it has amazing food but its missing key features, no chairs to sit in, no servers to take your order, food is terrible because it is unbalanced in flavor and tastes awful. Why would i want to go back after such a terrible experience? Match making has to be the worst part. Season 1 they released a marksmen agent named Flair which is similar to an assassin / harasser class which is usually a high skill class. Players already dont like to play the tankier defender class which is easier to play and necessary in a control zone based game type if you want a high chance of winning. Most of the matches had the worst team compositions so once you saw that your team has 4 marksmen and your the only defender your win chance is already low, to top it off matchmaking gives the team your up against a well balanced team. Season 2 they released Gambit a defender class with 2 new tanks and Ember another defender class another tank which gave me some hope to balance match making team compositions. Quality of matches got even worse. His tanks get ignored 90% of the time during both vs Ai and player matches that have bots as fillers in them. The ai bots will prioritize other tanks easier to kill so you can drive circles around them. If a squad decides to go with 3 gambits and abuse his ultimate which gives his team mates in an area of effect a huge burst of temporary hp and other buffs good luck trying to win against it when they can just keep activating when the other is on cooldown. To add more to the chaos Embers new tank is a flame thrower tank which sounds fun. The tank has alot of frontal spaced armor which is a temporary armor that can be shot off. This is easy to do with HE explosive rounds which will completely destroy the temporary armor exposing weak points. The amount of players that use HE rounds is very slim and players usually ignore any spaced armor and go for already exposed weak points. So 9 out of 10 matches that has a flamethrower tank you can barely kill it with out the entire team pushing hard to flank it. To make it worse it moves at a pretty decent speed compared to most tanks so you can keep hiding the ammo critical zone from line of sight by turning the turret and dominate the battle field. lets say you destroy the frontal armor, they can spam aoe napalm bombs that completely obscure your view and break any type of locking mechanisms. The player base is already small as it is and now you have to deal with players that afk so they can farm tech points when they lose a match to upgrade tanks. Right now the game is mostly 5v5 matches due to the low player count. You will load into a 5v5 match trying to play normally and then realize the reason your losing is because it is actually a 4v5 because of that afk farming player. If you try to que up again instantly after that loss you or the enemy team will get paired with the same afk player. So now if i want to play a normal game i have to wait and hope that this afk person gets into a match before i que up again so i dont get paired with them yet he is still creating unenjoyable games for others if he gets into a match with someone else. Since there is no report function and even if you take screen shots of the afk players multiple 0 0 0 scores afk games and post them in discord with no one taking action to even investigate or ban they are free to ruin games at will. From here you have a chain reaction effect where you will create more afk farming players or players will just choose not to play anymore. In a game where it already has a massive player base this wont effect its numbers as much but with this game that barely peaks at 500 players during the week is signs of a game that will last maybe 2 - 3 years if they are lucky before it gets shutdown. The only enjoyable thing about season 2 is the 20v20 conquest games that they had on friday to sundays during certain hours. These matches with or with out bots you dont have to worry about having a terrible team composition because there are enough tanks on the field to push and hold ground with quick respawn times. If they can fully implement this mode to at least retain players before they add more content that can actually attract more players it might have a chance.

The product is still very raw and I can't recommend it.

Cool
