About
Welcome aboard! You are but one of many captains on the high seas. Trade, loot, explore, and wage war as you fight for control, glory, and riches! Will you fade as a nameless wreck or rise as a legend feared by foes and honored by allies?
From a modest schooner to a gigantic man o’ war and beyond, you’re at the helm of your fine journey, Captain. Featuring over 50 upgradable and customizable historical ships from the Golden Age of Sail - schooners, galleons, brigantines, frigates, and so much more - the Archipelago rarely sees the same ships wandering the deep.
Sail ho! Enemy ship on the horizon! Man your ship and show off the menacing captain that you are by engaging in epic PvE or PvP Naval Battles! Use round shots, heated shots, chain shots, and many more to beat the odds and become a feared ruler of the seas!
Set sail into the unknown as you push past the edges of the map into the Endless Sea - uncharted, untamed, and full of mystery. Amass enough gold, and you can claim your own private island - an outpost of power where fleets are mended and riches flow in from distant mines and workshops.
Gold fuels everything - and how you earn it is up to you. Raid merchant ships for loot, build trade empires through production chains, transport rare goods between regions, or fish the seas for profit. Whether through battle or business, fortune favors the bold.
While sailing solo has its pros, it can be incredibly risky. Team up with friends or form a crew and rule the seas. For larger battles and deeper strategy, join a guild and dive into port wars, politics, and the race for dominance across the Archipelago!

Devs are stealth-patching the rules on the fly just to bias their favorites. They run an event only to rug-pull the rewards right after. Massive waste of time, don't even bother.

Do you need a second job?
So... there will be a big comment here regarding this B20 update. I'm saying right away that I'm not going to go through all the aspects of the moment, but rather those that seem most important for balance and economics, as well as game balance. Economy 1. Redesigned the smuggling and cargo transportation missions, fixed payroll errors. 2. The bonus for completing smuggling missions has been increased by 30%, and the route length has been increased. 1.1 (All of this is lies and misleading. Tasks for the delivery of ordinary goods and tasks for the delivery of contraband were both given randomly, in terms of rewards and in terms of distance. That is, the delivery of ordinary cargo can take 12000 travel distances and with a reward of 16000 gold, while smuggling takes 9000 and with a reward of 8000 gold). 2.1 (Again, this is a lie and the 30% bonus to the reward for delivering contraband does not work. Only the bonus from works... the flag of the merchant guild. P.S. This also applies to the temporary abundance of guilds for the "False Flag Bonus". By activating it, in theory, you should receive +10% interest under false flags, but... this bonus stupidly does not work, only the Captain's seal works. And that's not all +40% to loot, gold and experience, but about 10-20 percent of the specified Captain's Seal bonus. Oh, yeah... With the Captain's Seal, you... have an increased chance of finding something rare and valuable at sea and... that's it.) 3. Missions leading to pirate cities that cannot be safely completed under a peaceful flag have been removed from regular ports. In pirate cities, such missions can now appear with a low probability and give double the reward of x2 gold, experience, and scrolls. 4. Fixed errors in calculating prosperity and wages. 3.1 (Another nonsense, you may still randomly get cargo delivered to pirate cities.) 4.1 (But this line of text was created just to be in the patchbook, and that's it. It doesn't make sense, it doesn't explain what it means at all and what exactly it changes. Another nonsense for the sake of a wall of text.) Sound and graphics 5. New music tracks have been added. 6. Updated fishing sounds, ambient sounds and battle sounds. 7. Fishing has received new visual effects. 8. Some models, icons, and visual effects have been updated. 9. Improved water graphics: added detailed waves and lighting effects. 10. The order of opening the sails has been clarified depending on the speed. 5.1 (Yes, new music tracks have appeared, they didn't lie) 6.1 (Now that's a lie. There were no new sounds of fighting or the sounds of a distant battle somewhere in the sea. The sounds remained the same. There were no new ambient sounds, as there were sounds of waves, creaking of the hull and ropes of the ship, howling of the frosty wind in the north, and so they remained. There are also no new fishing sounds. There is only (very rarely) a visual effect of a fish jumping out of the water.) 7.1 (There is only one visual effect, and it can either be played or not played, in short, as the game wants, it will display this moment.) 8.1 (ONLY the portraits of the Special Crew were updated, and they were lazily run through the AI. No visual effects have been updated, neither the effects of firing guns, nor the effects of wind and flapping sails and flags, nothing has been updated in terms of effects.) 9.1 (They didn't lie here, a rare foam appeared on the waves, which also sometimes appears off the coast and near the rocks, as well as around the hull of your ship. But again, this is a lazily made foam model that... which turns out to be under the wave model and you can see the visual junctions of the models.) 10.1 (I can't say for sure here. This may be true, but it probably applies to certain ship models, not all of them.) Balance 11. The speed of La Royale and Adventure when rowing against the wind is now 8.5 knots. 12. The aft parts of the ships no longer have protection, but the 20% bonus for hitting the stern has been removed. The calculation of the bonus for a well-aimed shot has been changed. The bonus is now applied to penetration, not damage. 13. Fixed damage calculation for imperial forts, which previously did not take into account ship protection. 14. Fixed the consumable item "White Double Powder": the +10 range bonus is now applied correctly, including when used together with the Enhanced Ports upgrade. 15. The "Emergency Powder Charge" upgrade has been redesigned: the base damage bonus has been increased from 5% to 10%, and the maximum bonus (+25%) is now achieved at 33% ship strength. 16. The central circle can now be entered starting from the 15th level. 11.1 (It's true) 12.1 (Complete and lazily made nonsense. Each ship has its own design and aft protection features, depending on the class of the ship and the school of shipbuilding. But the developer is just too lazy. Oh, yeah... The developer is also VERY CLOSELY connected with the top guilds of the game, which are already pushing THEIR INTERESTS around the interests of the players.) 13.1 (Another controversial point. Since forts now deal damage based on ship protection, they should now deal INCREASED DAMAGE to ships with weak armor. (This should also apply to ALL other guns in the game, not just forts).) 14.1 (It's true) 15.1 (It's true) 16.1 (It's true) What can I say... The B20 update was at least some step towards guilds and guild content. But... again, a lot of things were done carelessly. The same NON-WORKING BONUSES from both the CAPTAIN'S SEAL, FALSE FLAGS, and a GUILD TEMPORARY BONUS that can be activated by the head of your guild. New ships. Garbage. Meaningless and useless garbage that is simply created in order to get money from them. (They are in the Imperial Chest, and in order to get them, you will have to invest money in them.) They do not have any outstanding characteristics compared to those that are already in the game and that can be built for resources or redeemed for a large amount of gold in the port. They have most of the characteristics INFERIOR to those of conventional ships for resources. (It smacks of a scam to enrich players' wallets, doesn't it?) And yes, since the previous ships from the Imperial Chest were made available for purchase with war stamps, why didn't the developers make their models for NPCs??? Where is the diversity in terms of NPC opponents? Where are the new Imperial boss ships?

Recommend not to play due to devs and managements
The developers of the game give preferential treatment to their foreign friends who play the game. Even if you play the game according to its rules, you can still be punished simply for disagreeing with the developers’ close friends or making decisions they do not approve of. The developers are not honest or transparent when it comes to decisions concerning the community. They listen to and side with their close friends. You can be subjected to racist attacks within the game, but if you speak up about it or call attention to the issue, YOU can be the one who gets punished.
Beware of the Monetization! World of Sea Battle has a lot of potential. The core gameplay is genuinely enjoyable, the naval battles are fun and engaging, and especially during the early stages it feels like you've discovered a promising pirate game. Unfortunately, that positive first impression is severely undermined by the game's monetization. What I find particularly concerning is the design of the in-game shop and the decoration menu for your island. Purchases made with regular gold and purchases made with premium currency are, in my opinion, not clearly distinguished. Instead of being presented in a transparent and unmistakable way, both currencies are integrated so similarly into the interface that accidental purchases are almost inevitable. That is exactly what happened to me. Without realizing I was spending premium currency, I accidentally purchased an item for 890 Premium Coins. It was only after I contacted customer support that I learned the purchase had been made with premium currency rather than gold. To me, this alone demonstrates that the user interface failed in its most basic purpose: enabling players to make an informed purchasing decision. What disappointed me even more than the accidental purchase was the response from customer support. Instead of addressing the lack of transparency in the purchasing process, I received nothing more than a standard reply referring me to the User Agreement, stating that premium purchases are non-refundable under any circumstances. The actual issue I raised was ignored entirely. I have absolutely no problem spending money on good games. Developers deserve to be paid for their work. What I do object to are monetization mechanics that, in my opinion, rely on confusion rather than transparency. If players only realize after completing a purchase that they have spent premium currency, then something is fundamentally wrong with the design. In my view, this monetization system comes dangerously close to crossing the line into deceptive business practices. The gameplay itself is enjoyable, but the monetization creates the impression that accidental premium purchases are, at the very least, accepted as part of the business model. Modern games should encourage players to spend money because they enjoy the game - not because the interface makes costly mistakes easier to make. My advice to anyone trying this game is simple: Double-check every single purchase, especially in the island decoration menu. Never assume that the currency being used is clearly indicated. It's a real shame. The naval battles are genuinely fun, and without these highly questionable monetization practices, I would have been happy to recommend the game. Unfortunately, I can't do that.
