Set sail in World of Sea Battle, an action-packed open-world MMO in the Golden Age of Sail! Command historic ships, battle in PvP & PvE, shape the economy, and engage in territorial guild wars in your quest for glory across the high seas!
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
Welcome aboard! You are but one of many captains on the high seas. Trade, loot, explore, and wage war as you fight for control, glory, and riches! Will you fade as a nameless wreck or rise as a legend feared by foes and honored by allies?
From a modest schooner to a gigantic man o’ war and beyond, you’re at the helm of your fine journey, Captain. Featuring over 50 upgradable and customizable historical ships from the Golden Age of Sail - schooners, galleons, brigantines, frigates, and so much more - the Archipelago rarely sees the same ships wandering the deep.
Sail ho! Enemy ship on the horizon! Man your ship and show off the menacing captain that you are by engaging in epic PvE or PvP Naval Battles! Use round shots, heated shots, chain shots, and many more to beat the odds and become a feared ruler of the seas!
Set sail into the unknown as you push past the edges of the map into the Endless Sea - uncharted, untamed, and full of mystery. Amass enough gold, and you can claim your own private island - an outpost of power where fleets are mended and riches flow in from distant mines and workshops.
Gold fuels everything - and how you earn it is up to you. Raid merchant ships for loot, build trade empires through production chains, transport rare goods between regions, or fish the seas for profit. Whether through battle or business, fortune favors the bold.
While sailing solo has its pros, it can be incredibly risky. Team up with friends or form a crew and rule the seas. For larger battles and deeper strategy, join a guild and dive into port wars, politics, and the race for dominance across the Archipelago!

World of Sea Battle surprised me in a good way. The strongest part isn’t the numbers or gear—it’s the feeling of being a captain actually sailing and fighting on the open sea. Exploration is genuinely fun. Just sailing around, discovering new routes and ports, watching the world open up bit by bit already feels rewarding, even before you min‑max anything. Combat is where it really clicks. You don’t just point and shoot: you manage speed, timing, distance and angle, lining up broadsides while dodging enemy fire. It demands precision and spatial awareness in real time, and that makes every engagement tense and satisfying. Resource gathering feels more meaningful than usual MMO grinding. Collecting materials to build an entirely new ship is way more motivating than farming another +1 piece of gear—your progress is visible the moment you launch that new hull into the water. It’s not an RTS, but the battle mechanics still scratch that tactical itch: positioning, timing, and prediction matter a lot more than raw stats, so victories feel earned rather than automated. Overall, if you like systems where movement, timing and decision‑making matter, and you’d rather invest in ships than chase endless loot tiers, World of Sea Battle is a surprisingly engaging naval sandbox.

The game is fun. Its got great bones. After only 3 days in I can confirm the reports of extremely biased and one sided modding to the point where there's 2 classes of people in the game; the ones with mods on their side, and everyone else. Great bones though. Player count has fell of massively from this I guess....... hope they figure it out.

Игра хорошая НО я бы ветер сделал хотя бы лояльнее
Veeery addictive, strongly recommend.
Its a good game, but you can't be a cry baby, lucky they usually leave fast.
The game has potential, but the (very) toxic community and blatant open racism amongst the players pull this game down to the depths of Davy Jones (where the hell are the GM's during primetime when people are spouting n-word and the like in General Chat?). During the few weeks I've tried this, only once did I see a GM actually do anything (and even then it was only "nuh-uh, play nice" even if it should be a bannable offence the things being said.
