WORLD END ECONOMiCA episode.01

This is the very first Visual Novel I've ever played through in full, and I thought it was an amazing story, despite being a linear one. Despite me coming in expecting a short 4 hour or so experience, and not liking any of the characters immediately, the last 3 or so hours (or basically everything from the start of the trading contest to the end of the game) somehow had me extremely invested in both the characters and the climax of the story. Even if you don't know trading terminology, it really can also be enjoyed through just the characters alone. I think the ending was amazingly done in a way that it could be left off as a one-off story with a satisfying conclusion, or lead into the next episode. My only problem was that it feels pretty slow in the beginning, even more so than most actual novels are, I don't really think it gets interesting or worth being invested into until the latter half of the game. Amazing story, 8/10, makes me want to trade stocks.

狼と香辛料の作者が書いた金融をテーマにしたノベルゲーム。 三部作なので興味があるなら最後まで買うべし。 経済知識が豊富な人が作者なのでその知識量に圧倒される。普通に経済学の勉強になる。オタク向け半沢直樹のようなイメージ。 エピソード1はまだ単純な方だが続編は用語を調べながらやるつもりでいてもいいくらい濃くなる。 またキャラの感情の動きも丁寧で無機質に思える金融というテーマとうまく調和が取れている。 このパートはまだ三部作の始めなので主人公の青臭さが鼻につくかもしれないが是非成長を見てほしい。 UI周りはだいぶ前のゲームなのでさすがに古臭さを感じる。

Хорошая новелла про экономику, фоновый рынок и игре акциями. Звёзд с неба не хватает, но сеттинг и концепция довольно необычны, так что стоит дать ей шанс. Состоит из 3 частей, каждая проходится за 10 часов, что довольно мало для цены в 490 деревянных, но на распродаже взять бандлом все 3 части можно за небольшую цену, так что простительно. Русского языка нет, но есть фанатский перевод, инструкция по установке найдёте в руководствах.

A solid start to a 3-part journey that pays off very well later on (to both of which I gave a 9/10) While I know little about economy stuff, I love that it was just a backdrop for a more personal story - one that is more about the people rather than the economy itself. I love that despite their constant conflicts, the characters were just as compromising and empathetic - something that many stories often neglect in favor of dramas. In this regard, I think the characters were written in a surprisingly mature way, especially for a visual novel. The protags were insufferable at first, perhaps because they're just kids with no proper upbringing. But that makes their character arcs all the more rewarding, and I really appreciate the author for not shying away from painting the kids true to their nature. It's like watching your kids grow; gotta put up with their annoying quirks at first haha. There's no VA. The visual department is quite lacking, but later episodes will improve on this. I gave this a 7, but without it, the later episode would not have the same impact at all.

I picked this VN mainly because it’s written by the author of Spice & Wolf, and while it’s not as good as that so far I think the story and characters in this VN are quite interesting, even though the ending itself feels abrupt and fairly predictable. It also feels like this episode is mostly meant as an introduction to the characters, which makes sense given that it’s the first part of a trilogy. Anyway, the explanations for stock market and financial terms are done really well, I think the way things are explained is very clear for those who are not familiar with the stock market. That said, the production value feels extremely low, with rough CG, frequent typos, limited music variety, and no voice acting. Honestly, this feels like it would work much better as a straight-up novel rather than a visual novel, but I am still looking forward to reading the second and third episodes.

虽然是galgame但其实没有恋爱，恶俗的内容有但不多，主要的故事线是炒股赚钱。交代世界观的内容比较多，前面节奏比较慢，竞赛开始之后就渐入佳境了。主要出场的人物都有相对立体的塑造，角色的心理变化、感情发展都细腻自然。剧情很精彩！
