Word Warp is a typing game, set in space. You have to protect your ship from incoming projectiles by typing specific incoming words. And fend off enemy vessels by finding words with the right amount of letters to destroy them and navigate your way home. An entertaining mixture between typing under stress and finding the right word at the right time.
Initially, all available words are based of the 20k most common english words. As you progress you may add to this, creating your own little linguistic arsenal.
Difficulty is based on your own typing speed and can be adjusted after each run.
If your daily occupation does not include enough typing and you enjoy the rattling of your keyboard, this game is for you.

Reviews
Tldr: Simple, short and sweet roguelike typing game with a couple interesting twists. Worth the money for typing enthusiasts! Pros: - simple but fitting animations/art. Keeps the screen clean in hectic moments - chill soundtrack - dynamic difficulty based on your initial performance (works really well, game felt challenging throughout all runs) - a lot of run customization: choose dictionaries, average words per minute and word lengths - after defending an attack wave, you switch from 'hammering your keyboard' to 'puzzling' giving you a brake if needed and requires you to think about a (mostly simplistic) strategy for a moment, giving the fame a nice twist Cons: - very short game length. The developer could add a few more stages to really enable you to play with build variety - some upgrades seem to always be a better choice (looking at you, chainlightning!) - a few more upgrade options would also be great In summary: If you are a typing game enthusiast, or wish to improve your typing speed, I can recommend this game wholeheartedly. The many ways of customizing your run and the ability to let you see your current words per minute lets you track your progress while gunning down enemy spaceships
