Word Crystal

basic wordle knockoff with subpar quality control. it's free and the aspect of multiple words per day that are related in some way is neat, so there's not really any harm in playing it if you want to! however, i have encountered several problems: [list] [*] the instructions are incorrect. (it says pink letters in a guess mean those letters [i]aren't[/i] in another word—it actually means they [i]are[/i] in another word.) [*] if you run out of tries on one of the words, you fail the entire day and aren't allowed to keep guessing on the other words, or even see what they were. i don't mind that that counts as a failure, but i'd like to be able to finish the other words for their own sake! [*] sometimes when you're down to your last guess on a word it glitches and won't input letters. moving back and forth seems to fix it, but still annoying. [*] achievements seem to be bugged—i got the achievements for winning 5/10/25/50 puzzles total on my very first day playing, while others such as winning two days in a row don't seem to pop despite meeting the requirements. [*] one of the words yesterday was straight up a racial slur. (please do basic checks on your word list for things like that before you put a game out!!!) [/list] these would all be very quick and simple fixes and i would happily reevaluate my opinion on the game if the dev were to fix them.

Игра "Word Crystal" - это восхитительная головоломка, сочетающая в себе простоту и увлекательность. С первых же уровней она захватывает своей медитативной механикой соединения букв в слова. Графика лаконичная и приятная, не отвлекает от процесса, а спокойная музыка создает расслабляющую атмосферу. По мере прохождения сложность постепенно возрастает, заставляя подключать смекалку и расширять свой словарный запас. Разнообразие уровней и бонусные задания делают игру реиграбельной. Приятно, что есть система подсказок, которая помогает в сложных ситуациях, но не злоупотребляет помощью, оставляя простор для самостоятельного решения. Единственным небольшим минусом могу назвать иногда повторяющиеся слова, особенно на начальных этапах, но это не критично и не портит общего впечатления. В целом, "Word Crystal" - отличная игра для тех, кто любит словесные головоломки и хочет приятно провести время, тренируя свой ум. Рекомендую!

EDIT - I can't play this game anymore after moving to a 34" widescreen curved monitor. parts of the screen are off the top and bottom. Five us some basic video settings please! The game is pretty esoteric and takes some getting used to, but I play it every day. What I don't like about it, is that when I lose because I run out of guesses for a word, it doesn't tell me what the word actually was. Otherwise, I like it - it makes me exercise my brain, but it's also something you can use a crossword puzzle dictionary to help you with if you struggle.
