About
Wizardry Variants Daphne carries on the lineage of the classic RPG series, Wizardry. The portal to the labyrinth of despair, where even destruction is pleasure, has opened once again.
Once every 100 years, the Abyss opens.
It is a curse of death that consumes the continent. A Warlock who coveted Death, devoured people and animals and enveloped the world in despair.
Inheriting the power to seal the Abyss over generations, kings have continued to protect the kingdom from its curse.
But now, the king has vanished, and the world is being consumed by death, moment by moment.
Resistance itself is meaningless.
There is naught but to perish.
Experience an adventure of your very own with unique allies based on combinations of classes and races.
Perilous traps and mighty foes await in the dungeon. Take on a high difficulty that only Wizardry can offer.

Wizardry is a computer role-playing game released in the United States in 1981 with elements such as party organizing, labyrinth exploration, monster fighting, and character development having such a tremendous impact on the various RPGs that followed, that it is often referred to as the origin of RPGs. A gacha game as gacha as gacha can be that unfortunately has a really robust and (usually) fair RPG attached to it. My only hope is that it will inspire its players to try other Wizardry games, and dungeon crawlers in general.
I genuinely love this game, Don't hesitate to give it a try if you love old school dungeon crawlers and can get through the gacha mechanic. I promise you it doesn't matter, you get free top tier characters occasionally by playing you're bound to find one you like. You'll be able to enjoy this game whether you pay or not. Definitely worth a try though mobile ver. is better. It is a mobile game after all.
I've been hardlocked out of playing the game for a week and support doesn't know how to fix it. A boss battle bug caused all the buttons to be completely unresponsive. Because of the way it's programmed, restarting the game sends me back to that exact moment in the fight where the bug occured. My account got bricked because of poor programming. It was pretty good up until that point though.
