Only way I can actually describe what this "game" feels like is... A student in Engineering, sleeping during class dreaming about becoming a game developer, and then somehow manages to talk his teacher into letting him make a "Teaching game" during class. However, since the student have been sleeping during most of the classes, his actual knowledge in the Engineering field is... awkward, flimsy. Leading to very bizzare things, like LITERALLY 20% of the game is teaching you about a mechanic that does not apply to real life modern engieering or circuitry in the fahsion it does in game (the terminals). Since he also needed to stretch out the game, every mechanic will be followed by between 5 to 10 stages of the exact same mechanic, without any form of twist AT ALL. And since he's not really been playing anything other than iOS games, he doesn't actually know how to make a proper PC game either, so the actual result even on the gameplay side turns out very weird; with things like using "W" to jump, or having very long tedious "cutscenes" in places you literally just have to sit and wait if you want to hear them, instead of having them play at the start of rooms with longer puzzles, so you could listen while actually playing. That is the only way I can imagine this game was made. Frankly it's bizzare, beacuse the game does have all the building blocks to actually create a great learning experience, but for some reason it just... not. This game should have completely scraped the terminal system, beacuse when you're already forcing the players to re-do the exact same mechanic 5-10 times in a raw, over and over again, artifically increase the leight those takes is simply not a good way to go. The terminals is also one of the reasons I would NEVER recommand this to anyone as a learning experience, beacuse having them spend about 45minutes doing nonsense stages after stages just to "learn to use the terminals", which is completely useless in real life, is just a no-go. Specially since it's at the very start of the game, so it's something they have to go through to get the the actual teaching parts; which are alright, but not when you have to waste 45 minutes getting there. At that point they would have learned more on youtube. This game could also completely scrap the "platformer" aspect of it, and it would likely be more enjoyeble. A smart way to get tons of good reviews though, having the students at the school that published the game be allowed to play it during class instead of actual school work. The music is good though.

This game is a good puzzle game. There is a story that is OK level interesting, too. The best part is that it actually teaches the basics of electric circuit quantification (voltage and current) without using math equations. It uses an intuitive visual model that really works.
Lovely little game. It's *free* and only takes a few hours to play. The acting might seem a little twee, but it's actually quite a sweet story and once you complete it you realise the acting fits it nicely. It seems like the author, Diarmid Campbell, put this together as a project for his university course, and it's *really* nicely put together. If you are already familiar with electronics you may find the pacing a little slow, but it's an educational game not a 'AAA' title, so that's understandable.The control scheme for the 'Wall' sections take a bit of getting used to, but overall it's a great game and I highly recommend it.
Electrical engineer grad here. Great starting point for the video game industry to demonstrate the potential of integrating video games and education. Mediocre execution in making a game that is actually fun to play or at least appears sophisticated, perhaps due to low budget, even though made by Cambridge. At one point the game play just felt like doing repetitive tutorial questions all over again. The game could definitely adopt more elements and take a deeper dive into a few of these electrical concepts. Nonetheless, the visualisation of electrical concepts here is great. Its essentially the year 10/11 physics circuit syllabus, go for it if you are a high school student who wants to have a little more fun learning electrical.
