"Winging It" is a rather mediocre ripoff of Flappy Bird (yeah, the absolute state of "indie" amateur developers right here). What do you do in the game? It's Flappy Bird, with a lame little glide mechanism, but ultimately the gameplay is pretty much the same. Don't be decieved by the poor quality low poly assets. All you do is Flappy Bird stuff. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $5 USD for this. Imagine charging $5 for a Flappy Bird ripoff. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players (on day 0, who would then write a bunch of sus reviews), and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. It's important to note that, despite this being such a low quality product, there's a number of positive reviews that all appeared immediately after the game launched, from suspiciously inactive Steam accounts that have reviewed almost no other games apart from this. Take the review score of this game with a grain of salt. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Fun game! I really like the way the flight physics were handled; it felt very smooth. The stages do ramp up in difficulty as you go, but the game does a good job of providing cues for what to expect. Some more racing levels would be cool and a bit more variation on the sound track, but definitely worth the price. Plus, the owl is adorable.
Great game. Simple to learn and pick up but still has depth. Great, unique art and a bangin soundtrack.
A fun game with beautiful background and soothing soundtrack while you hunt for survival through every short level.
love this game it was pretty intresting deffo will be playing more
Really love the art style! Great game to just chill back and relax to.
This game has great music and I like the animations! I enjoy how in level 1 it walks you through what to do an how at each level they give you the option to challenge yourself and keep going, or if you need help you have the option to trade in your collected food tokens for help/boosters for the next level. Each time I completed a level and thought I was getting good, there would be something new in the next level that I had to learn to continue! I haven't made it through all the levels yet, but I am really enjoying this game. I also like how you don't lose your food collection if you fail a level, that has saved me more than once! This is very fun and I would recommend playing!
Great game! Easy to pick up and enjoyable challenge with good balance
remember those jump/launch/glide games on flash webgame sites that were insanely popular back in the day? yeah, this is like that. if you are looking for a flappy bird rip-off, like some other players compare it to, this isn't your thing. trust me. flappy bird is "thread the needle". this is "go with the flow" gliding game with occasional booster flap in a chill environment. oh, and soundtrack is pure chiptune retrobliss. developers were very decent to release it for free after dissolving the company. it makes it unambiguously abandonware and is completely safe from any legal standpoint for future usage. other companies should learn from this. this is what we as gamers want. now i wish i paid for it to support them. only downside i can find to this relaxing game is resolution issues. but those will not plague vast majority of gamers and this works perfectly on fullscreen devices and similar setups. it can also work on multimonitor but don't expect any dynamic changes. short, sweet, relaxing afternoon experience done by a developer that obviously respects the industry. go for it, you literally got nothing to lose except half an hour. that's all you need to see if this is for you or not and it's free.
