This game, even in its early access state has more of what I was hoping for when I bought Sea of Thieves. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to find out the dev bought Sea of Thieves, hated it, and said, I'm gonna write the pirate multiplayer RPG I was wanting to play when I bought Sea of Thieves. Build it, and they will come (from Sea of Thieves). I like the expanded crafting in this game, the combat is good, and the graphics are excellent, especially sunrises/sunsets. I would like to see some work on the UI, but I am looking forward to all additional development in this game, which is off to a great start.
One of my favorite survival games!
Great game to play. had to fix the HDR through steam settings, but besides that, it's a great game to play with friends. can't wait for more content
якорь мне в жопу!
tolles bau tool, super zum bauen. tolle geschichte super gameplay
Unplayable currently. There is a delay in dodging, ruining the entire game. Uninstalled after fighting two enemies.
This is a VERY fun survival game. Even being in a early release state, Windrose brings together so much from various survival games and makes it smooth, fun to play and easy to sink hours and hours into. The building is a great balance between complexity and simplicity, the combat is the perfect depth and in general it's just fun. Highly recommend playing on a server with a bunch of friends :)
A mix of a bad Valheim and a bad Black Flag. When I bought this game, I expected proper co-op naval adventures where you and your friends would crew a single ship together. Instead, every player has their own ship and their own crew, which completely kills the experience I was hoping for. The combat is awful. Fighting just feels bad, like you're controlling a slow, unresponsive sack of potatoes. There's no weight, no flow, and no satisfaction. In the end, the game feels like a poor mix of Valheim and Black Flag. It's as if the developers took all the grinding and repetitive parts from both games while removing everything that made them fun. What makes it even worse is that I can't refund it anymore because I played for 6 hours. I pushed through the story until I got my ship, tried the core mechanics, and immediately uninstalled the game. I can't recommend it.
