A fantastic survival and crafting game with a pirate setting. Ship combat is fun, the most fun since AC Black Flag. There is a steep learning and equipment curve, especially for the first biome. It is not a hack and slash game, and mirrors souls-like combat but without the harsh penalties. Certain aspects could be improved, like item and storage management, but overall it does not detract significantly from the enjoyment of the game. It's still early access so hopefully more features will eventually be incorporated. Some parts feel like a grind but reminds me of the Minecraft grind, in a good way. Game runs mostly smoothly on this PC but I wouldn't push a lower spec graphics card. Overall, we finally have a good pirate survival game and I look forward to continue to play, try new and different strategies, and await further updates.

Alright sorry but im going to have to give my first negative review in a long time. I really like the concept of this game and all the details and everything are well executed HOWEVER the combat is just really bad. Enemies are just pure bullet or sword sponges. It just isnt fun at all to fight anyone. If i could give this game a neutral review i would.

I have really enjoyed playing this game for the past 2 weeks. The artwork is good I enjoy seeing the stars at night and the sunrise and sunsets. I would love to see a bit better UI, I am constantly rolling my mouse wheel to select an item in my action bar.
