The only reason I bought this version is because its the only one between, Wildlife Park, Wildlife Park 2, and Wildlife Park 3 that is for Mac. For a normal game, it is not that bad, but compared to Zoo Tycoon 2 it just can't fulfill my needs. I am not able to play Zoo Tycoon 2 at the moment because I don't have a PC yet, so i got this to hopefully hold me off from it, but it just can't. If Wildlife Park 2 were to come out for Mac, I would for sure buy it, but this one just doesn't impress me much.
I'm so happy to be able to play this game after many, many years! My 8 year old self is practically screaming with joy! Although some of the controlls are a bit different from the original CD-ROM game it is exactly how I used to picture it playing and looking when I was a kid! :D
Poor graphics, confusing gameplay, and glitches all over the place. If you like Zoo Tycoon then you should just buy Zoo Tycoon. This is as terrible as a clone can get. Not worth the price, I could've bought a sandwich or something.
Just like I remember it. So nice to have a version that works on win10

¡Feliz safari casero!
Best zoo simulator in Steam... Possibly. Pros: They show animals mating. Cons: Animals will always hate you and beg for more.
Saw this game pop up on Facebook, clicked through to check it out, and yep—instant buy as birthday gift for me. I've always loved Zoo Tycoon and pretty much any tycoon game; that's what I grew up playing. When i did loaded it up, i got immediately blasted with super loud menu music—nearly jumped out of my seat. Wasn't expecting that welcome party, but what you expect from old games from the 2000's but all in all Graphics aren't top-tier, but they're fine and I have no complaints there. The only real issues I've run into are that you can't reliably Alt-Tab out without problems, and when I tried picking up animals from the delivery crate to place them, the screen completely freaked out—full-on glitching and spazzing like crazy. Other than that, it's a solid game. but I'm hoping to get my daughter into it too, since the new computers don't have CD drives anymore and the original Zoo Tycoon games are basically impossible to find in proper digital form these days, unless you can get CD drive in. but Fingers crossed she'll enjoy it, and maybe one day the classics will show up properly on Steam or somewhere.
Have tried my absolute hardest to run this on Windows 10. Screen is either extremely small or does not fit to screen at all (too big and edges are cut off) Then they have the cheek to release a 'reloaded' edition which probably fixes this. b-alive gmbh is never getting my money again. AVOID
As it won't go into full screen, I couldn't acces the tool bar or read the tutorial prompts, to know what they were asking me to do! Have requested a refund. Shame 'coz i love zoo games.
