Wild Honesty: A party game for deeper conversations

Honestly one of the most wholesome games I have ever played. Grab a buddy, crack open a cold one and get ready to talk about your feelings.

Do you want to connect better with your friends, family, partners? This is the game for you. It opens the floor for conversation and getting to know one another. Having played this with some intimate friends, it left us spending hours discussing our lives, our pasts, and a lot of other things we never likely would have broached. Come to the metaphorical table with a mindset of vulnerability, and you'll come out learning a lot about the people you've played with. Could use some more questions, but I figure the developers will update over time and add more as time goes on. I don't know if the questions repeat, but it'd be good to be able to mark questions as answered. Maybe have a mode where it's a 'saved game', so it remembers what you've already answered and what you haven't. Multiple save game slots would be good, to play it with different people/groups.

Would recommend for niche cases like fully-remote parties like we'd done during the pandemic lockdowns, or people who genuinely love the "guess the sound" prompts. Otherwise believe in-person meetups would find it simpler to use a physical deck of conversation cards. Would recommend a sequel take that "simultaneous input from multiple players for later or simultaneous reveals" capability & use it for more prompt types; it's one of the few things having a computerized moderator enables vs. just a card deck.

The questions presented aren't all that variable, on the intimate friends level very few are actually what I would classify as such, while most just being generic questions. The sound mini game is also pretty boring and I'd offer an option to completely skip it... DEFINITELY not worth the full price, but I wouldn't personally pay more than 4€ for this game.

This is a wonderful little thing to get people talking and even learn things about close friends that you've never known about. It's a great way to get to know new people or introduce someone new to a group of friends. Awesome for starting any night of vibes and drinks~!

This game is pretty simple in concept and very easy to set up. It is, as other reviewers have said, somewhat in the vein of Jackbox Party Pack games. Gameplay itself takes place in your browser and via conversation (either with people in the same room as you or via streaming systems.) Each 'round' consists of two parts, a guessing game with sounds, usually animal noise, followed by a question related to one of the topics you have chosen to include. There is both the base game and 'Seasonal' packs with more pointed questions about a particular subject. The continued release of these packs has helped the game feel fresh and keep some variety in questions.

Really enjoyed it, actually and looking forward to seeing where this goes and if there's any additional questions as time goes on with a patch or some sort. The guessing questions are good for losen up the mood if anyone doesnt feel like talking, etc. But the questions are really good prompts to reflect and chat with others. You might not play this game with strangers but its great to play with people you know and its good to sit and discuss these questions. I Really love the concept actually.
