Honestly I am more in the middle with this game since the first episode is a bit mediocre since it pretty much is just run around the house and listen to audio tapes while going to a cabin with a little bit of aliens sprinkled in. Also not too sure about the ending either since my dude basically gets a big headache and passes out in the both of them lol. The game is well designed though in quite a few parts its just that in my opinion episode 1 is pretty lacking and short but at least episodes 2 & 3 will be included assuming the dev hopefully releases them since I've played games before where they never come back lmao. Potential is there but I'll keep an eye on it but I can't recommend it at the moment since it isn't a good alien game. I was hoping I got abducted though while playing it but I didn't :( https://youtu.be/NzhacNeWgm0
Devs, we have a game with massive potential here. Basing it off a true story is already a good first step. Visuals are stunning but we need a guide on the top left whenever a player is stuck or has a tough time navigating, we need shines to be added around items so it can be spotted for collectibles. No bug so far but keep updating the game. Looking forward to Epi 2.
I first heard about this game on In The Keep Podcast and have been following ever since! It is SUCH a gem! The exploration and atmosphere just take you away into the mind of Ray Roswell. So many personal touches from the quotes in the books to the famous UFO references and even subtle notes that truly capture the setting. Kudos to HHS on a great launch and I look forward to seeing more down the road. ROSWELLS!
Great game!! Cant wait for the next episode~
I absolutely loved this game and can't wait for the next episodes. The atmosphere was intense and terrifying and the story has been phenomenal. This brought back the and fear I felt when watching Signs and The Fourth Kind for the first time. Absolutely recommend playing.
I just finished playing Who Are You!? Episode One, and I’ve got thoughts. I played the demo about a month ago, and it completely hooked me. The atmosphere, the mystery - it grabbed me right away and didn’t let go. So when the full game dropped, I was excited to finally get some answers… Except it’s not the full game. It’s Episode One. And yeah… by the end of it, I had more questions than I did after the demo. This feels like a true opening chapter. It sets the tone, builds the world, and gives you just enough to keep you invested - but it holds back a lot. Whether that payoff lands later is going to be the real test. Since I already played the demo, the early moments didn’t hit as hard in terms of scares. I kind of knew what might be coming, so the pacing felt a bit faster for me. That’s the downside of playing demos early, I guess. Still enjoyable - just a different experience. The game looks good, and the audio does its job. Nothing groundbreaking, but it creates a good atmosphere. I had fun exploring and definitely wanted to keep going to figure out what’s actually happening. Also… I couldn’t flush the toilet. Minus one point. For now, I’m giving Episode One a solid 6/10, with the understanding that this score could change depending on how the story unfolds in future episodes.
It is a very good game. Coming from a smal studio, you can see the love they put in the game. Their eye for details, the well done scare effects. Done just right and not over the top. Thank you btw for not adding in creepy spiders. That is so overly done. It is a lot of fun to explore, investigate all that there is to find. They guide you in a very well done way to where you need to go and be. Looking forward to the next chapters.
