game is fun until feeding trough, all my homies hate feeding trough

♥♥♥♥ me i like it
Haven't beaten the game yet but it's still good I just suck
I haven't even made it that far into a single run but this has to be one of the most satisfying (and occasionally nerve wracking) rogue-lites I've ever played. The game has a lovely horror/low rez aesthetic. You play as... some person who must climb/run/jump your way out of this giant mega structure facility while some sort of mass flesh thing emerges out of the ground ready to consume you. I've never really played climbing games before but I do love the way the climbing mechanics feel. They are simple enough to understand (you have two hands each which have their own stamina bar which you can use to grab onto ledges and pull yourself up, you must manage stamina while also planning your route and can also leap up/off of a hand hold for additional height), and while they are simple to understand there is a clear sense of mastery to be had in understanding the games mechanics and the tools they provide you (pitons, and rebar to give yourself new handholds/open up new paths, as well as a variety of other tools to deal with the various monstrosities the game throws at you) Just looking at some footage from later in the game and my own experience with the first two areas in the game, there is a clear sense of distinction/design in the areas (the first area has the simplest threats and focuses primarily on climbing upwards, the second area adds a lot more horizontal areas where you might need to find your way to the exit point), there is also a variety of challenge modes and additional content outside the main campaign with more coming on the way. The game also provides a good sense of meta progression as well as you unlock new tools that can be used within a run, and various different modifiers you can apply to a run. This game is a hard recommend and I look forward to continue attempting to beat the campaign (and falling to my doom)
me saco lo manco
One of the best games i've ever played. It has a great gameplay loop, a wonderful artstyle, good lore, plenty of side content, and is overall amazing. What a thrill 10/10
