its rlly expansive and impressive for a free game (the in app purchases are easy to ignore). However, most quests are downright incomprehensible jumbles dialogue (without prior knowledge of chinese history and stock characters) but even without prior knowledge, its testament to bad story telling that i do not understand why these characters are here and what they are doing. I think the worst thing is, most side missions and adventures basically have no real resolutions, after you defeat the boss you rarely get closure with some rare exceptions (I liked that Zheng E's closure was more in the environmental storytelling than a cutscene for example). There is a reason a lot ppl skip dialogue even if its voice acted (don't get me started on the AI dialogue that they thankfully put a stop to in the new area). Majority of this game is wuxia slop with pretty lighting and bad video game physics-- so its just like most modern wuxia. On the positive side, i like the combat, its satisfying, and the gameplay loop is decent even though I am not used to grindy games like this going to an outpost and stealth killing everyone hasn't lost its charm over 100h in, and the main missions and the few side quests that actual effort was put in are actually pretty good (but they also sometimes suffer from unintelligibility to a lesser extent, and before I get accused of media illiteracy, this is a rather well known with the fans that even the main missions are hard to understand) maybe I am expecting too much from a free game, but I think if the quests were even 10% more articulate, this would be a 10/10 even with all its flaws, because I like the experience of laughing at this game and then being in awe of some of its best moments. There are many bugs and glitchy experiences but they aren't like gamebreaking and add to the accidental humor. Overall, if you like this genre i think your standrads are already low (like mine) so you are going to like this game.

For a free game, it's pretty amazing.
Don't take my review seriously, I only installed it for 700 orbs on Discord. Maybe I'll play it one day or maybe not.
WASTED MY LOVE, AND IT BROKE MY HEART. I HATE THE GACHA RATES IN THIS GAME SO MUCH. THEY GIVE YOU NOTHING. I'M ALMOST AT THE GUARANTEE FOR THE COSTUME NOW—I'M AT 80% AND IT STILL GAVE ME A HARMONIC CORE. OMG!
great combat
The game wouldn't load. It just showed me a black screen with wwm.exe at the top
The monkey is somehow the most confident NPC here.
