I tried to like this game, and while the storytelling, graphics and the world design are marvelous, the gameplay mechanics are not. I cannot stand it when the combat requires to handle more than two buttons. Three at most. Hack and slash, or not. Two hours might be too early to judge, but I genuinely cannot be bothered.

the game itself is actually nice but what bothers me is the fact you have to download the whoile game again to update it
Scar looks annoyed by every design choice I make, so naturally I keep moving furniture around him like his opinion matters.
My friend added a theme park-looking gate to my careful courtyard. It looks ridiculous, but now the place has a story. I would never have built it alone, which is probably why I remember it better than my neat version.
Combat still feels sharp, but the home side changes how I pace myself. A hard encounter lands differently when the next thing I do is check a crop timer or move a chair instead of sprinting toward another marker. That small reset keeps me from burning out on the intense parts. The game can be loud for a while, then quiet enough that I notice where I left the garden tools. That small reset keeps me from burning out on the intense parts. A boss attempt can be loud, messy, and stressful, then the next ten minutes are just a crop timer, a bench in the wrong place, and a cat ignoring me. The contrast is simple, but it changes the way I leave and re-enter the action. I used to end a session the moment I ran out of combat energy. Now I can stay in the game without forcing myself into another demanding objective, which makes the whole loop easier to live with.
