its great
Das Problem existiert ausschließlich in Where Winds Meet.

GUT!
The home update adds freedom without turning into a neat side mode. I can treat it seriously for a night, ignore it the next, then come back because I suddenly care about a fence.
The homestead makes quieter characters and locations matter more. When there is room for visits, meals, and ordinary work, the cast gets to exist outside crisis scenes. The homestead makes quieter characters and locations matter more. When there is room for visits, meals, and ordinary work, the cast gets to exist outside crisis scenes. That is the kind of worldbuilding I tend to remember, because it gives people habits instead of only giving them dramatic entrances. A game this large needs small human pauses, and the homestead gives those pauses somewhere believable to happen. Those quiet habits also make the louder story moments easier to believe, because the characters feel like they had lives before the next crisis arrived. Small thing, but it matters.
Another player's house made me want to rebuild mine from scratch. It was smaller, cleaner, and frankly insulting.
I picked Pudding because he looked harmless. Five minutes later I was moving a bench so he could sit in the sun without blocking the path, which is probably the exact moment this system got me. I know it is just a pet animation, but it changed how I planned the yard. The furniture stopped being decoration and became a little map of where I hoped he would hang out. I was not trying to make the biggest house anymore. I was trying to make one sunny corner work for one very calm cat.
